I have the Superfruit (I think…I was deciding between the Fruit Fusion and that and the bottle broke so I’m not 100% but pretty sure). Anyway I love this oil. I think it moisturizes really well which some just don’t. This whole brand is excellent really. I love the smell (of all of their stuff) but my husband hates it lol.
Agree with the reviewer who said to store it in the fridge though, I think I actually got that tip when I looked up the reviews here and it’s good I did because I smelled some in the store and realized some weren’t as fresh as others, so I got the one that smelled the best. I would love to stock up on a few bottles when there was a sale but I don’t think it’s the best idea unless you store them all in the fridge. Even then….they do go bad after a time. I can use one bottle quick enough I think but I don’t know how 2 or 3 would fare.
Packaging could be better. I wouldn’t necessarily say glass either because while it’s better, it is heavier and can break too. But the plastic broke on me and the disc top also can get clogged, broken or leak too much. I put mine into a jar when it broke and even though the application is more…messy it works fine. And it’s in glass now so that’s nice.
But I definitely recommend these. I just got mine but I’d easily use mine in summer time too since I live in the desert it’s very dry pretty much always so oils are always helpful.
Update: A year later and mine is still perfectly fine in the fridge, so it does keep it from spoiling. (I have so many lotions I rotate, so that’s why I still have this.) I am DEFINITELY buying these again, maybe in new scents but I still love this. I love this whole brand.

Scored a couple bottles of the Coconut & Hibiscus body oil at CVS for 75% off. I think I had plans to mix it with sugar and use it as a body scrub, but I never got that motivated. What I did get was super dry itchy skin this winter that no amount of layering virgin coconut oil and lotion would relieve. Luckily I had this on hand. Yes, I’ve got to slather myself down with it after I shower so I do go to bed greasy, but I wake up with the most amazingly soft skin. It will probably be too much for summer use, but this has become my new winter staple 🙂

I thought coconut was a no-no for my clog-prone skin but it’s never clogged my pores once. In fact, quite the opposite. Perhaps unorthodox but I use this as a face cleansing oil! In the winter I use it almost nightly. In the spring and fall I use it several nights a week. I will follow up with another cleanser or sometimes I’ll use my (nip + fab glycolic cleanser and then massage this oil on and rinse.
I find this helps when my pores are really congested and dehydrated. They’re actually screaming for moisture! This feels so nice and absolutely does not leave my skin greasy. Also takes my makeup off just fine (I don’t use any long wear formulas though). If I use just oil to cleanse because my skin is super dry, I’ll do a few swipes of Kiehls ultra toner and all clean.

I have the Coconut & Hibiscus oil and the Argan Oil & Raw Shea bath, body and massage oils from Shea Moisture and I love them both so much! I used the Coconut & Hibiscus oil during the summer and it was pretty nice. I wanted a different scent for the fall and winter though, so I picked up the Argan Oil & Raw Shea and I love it! If I could only buy one, the argan oil would win hands down. After using it only twice, I’ve seen a marked improvement in the KP on my arms and legs! Normally I shell out $13-$18 for Amlactin to get rid of my KP but I was so thrilled to find something cheaper! I normally apply the oil sparingly after my shower and let it soak in with the bathroom still steamy, it doesn’t seem to soak in as well if my skin starts to dry out. A little goes a long way, and I’m not crazy about the push cap on the bottle, a pump would be better in my opinion… The scent is super light on both oils and only linger for a bit on me, they don’t interfere with my perfumes at all. They are great for just after shaving and sooth skin so well, I will continue to buy and use this as long as they make it. I think I’m going to introduce my mother-in-law to this line too, the products seem easy enough to build a gift basket with.

I adore the tropical coconutty scent of the Coconut & Hibiscus line, so I always try any new product versions that come out in this scent. When I discovered the body oil, I was in love! I was already using the body wash but wanted something to put on my skin for that delicious scent to linger (I also had the body lotion but used it very sparingly, as the scent & butter-type feel were overpowering). For summer beach & winter dryness, this lightweight moisturizing body oil is divine – the scent is more delicate to the nose than the body lotion. I love using this on my legs in the summer. Word of caution: I recommend storing this in the fridge if not used within a couple of months after opening because the delicate safflower & borage oils (top 2 ingredients) go rancid easily. I kept my opened bottle on the shelf till the next summer only to find it spoiled. So for sporadic use & extended storage, refrigerate. An 8oz bottle lasts a lot longer than you’d think. Great natural, organic, “perfumed” moisturizer (I filled in the ingredients list section above). The only thing I’d change is the packaging – for oils, I prefer glass instead of plastic & the push-top spout can get messy.
