Amazing find. I threw out my first bottle (green cap/aloe vera included)
with very little use as I was not using a smaller-than-you-would-think amount out of the shower- I was using too much, as one would a lotion, and on dry skin.
Second time about a year later, I read the reviews and bought another bottle of the same type (green cap). Well scrubbed, clean skin, out of the shower, then this. Then lightly dried off. That is what I needed to do. It always comes out beautifully and the moisturized soothed feeling lasts for DAyS if need be.
(if I miss a shower because for example my kids are ill and I have no spare moments)
It doesn’t clog my pores even though my body skin is almost as sensitive as my face. I can pop on a body oil or cream or lotion if need be on top if need be but rarely feel the need except for hands and knees.
This is just a fantastic product. FThe soft scent is not unpleasant either.

I love this stuff! It’s super moisturizing. I find it hard to spread so I mix it with a little bit of Johnson’s Baby Lotion for easier application. It makes my skin feel super soft and locks moisture in when applied after a shower.

One of my staples. It has replaced my HG nivea (german version). Hours later I still feel moisturised without looking greasy. My skin looks soft and supple. I have already used a bottle and now half way through the second one

I’ve repurchased this many times. HG body moisturizer when applied to wet skin immediately after a shower. It seals in moisture like nothing else I’ve tried, and it lasts all day, even into the next day. I say this as someone with the driest legs and arms you can imagine, with moderate KP to boot. I prefer the aloe and vitamin E formula in the green capped bottle, as it seems to be the most moisturizing version. It’s a bit gloppy, so I don’t know that it would work for shaving, and it’s not light enough for the OCM. The nozzle on the bottle can get messy, and tbh I’d actually prefer a simple flip-top tube packaging, since the hard plastic bottle can make it difficult to extract all the product once it starts to run out. All that aside, I still have not found anything that moisturizers my extra-dry body skin as well as this does. The key is you must apply to fully wet skin. Applying it to dry or even just lightly damp skin wont work. It needs sufficient moisture to spread and seal in. I’ve tried all the store-brand dupes, and most are ok. But the light baby powder scent and rich moisture level is still the best with the J&J Aloe baby oil gel formula. Whenever I catch a poll on the boards here asking for best body moisturizers, this is what I post.

The aloe Vera 1 keeps away mosquitos I’ve heard so I tried it at a horse show & I didn’t get any bites! Not sure if this was coincidence. I use this for shaving. If does not clog my razor I mix it w some water to thin it out. It also is a gr8 moisturizer for my neck. My neck is the Sahara desert it’s always red & dry so I put either baby oil or this on it & it keeps it smooth, doesn’t sting, & I don’t break out from baby oil. This is such a good moisturizer cheap too u can get store brands of this also but J&J is the best! It smells so good. It’s a really good product will buy and buy again.

This is for the chamomile gel oil in the yellow cap. It has the lightest scent out of the other baby oils. They don’t really sell the chamomile one in the US(made in Italy, Dublin) but I found it at a dollar store and discount store. It was the last one on the shelf. Some others are too strong and can smell it from far away. The scent is light and pleasant.
Pros:
Lighter scent than the other baby oils
Very moisturizing
No mess, easier to use than oil
Skin and legs looks shiny

The texture of this is quite thick, and difficult to massage into the skin. It’s easier to use when I use it directly after the shower when my skin is still a bit damp. It locks moisture and makes my skin oh-so-soft. But the hydration doesn’t seem to last very long. It has a very light scent to it that I like. It’s not an overwhelming scent, it fades quickly. The cap/opening is on the bottom of the bottle which is great, since it makes the product come out easier. It’s an okay product.

This is one of my HG body moisturizers. while my skin is still damp from the shower, I will rub this into my legs and arms and pat off. it leaves my skin silky and with a bit of a sheen. I use the cocoa butter scented one.

So i had purchased this with intentions of trying it as shaving lotion, as im always trying to get the smoothest legs i can get and keep them smooth for as long as possible.
I just smeared some of this on during the shower and shaved as i normally would, but whereas it is oil, IT WILL CLOG YOUR RAZOR. its not a shocker. A simple fix to this is dap and push a thick conditioner through the razor blades to pick up the oil, dead skin, and hair that is trapped in your razor then rinse it all out. Youll need to do this a few times throughout shaving, but the end result was worth it. My legs felt super hydrated and smooth for a few days! Ive used this method for the past 5 shaves now and it seems to be working fine for me! Although its a pain in the ass.
PROS:
-skin felt hydrated
-skin felt smooth
-cheap
-that awesome baby smell
-my boyfriend couldnt stop petting my legs after shaving
-lasted for a few days
CONS:
-messy
-time consuming
-clogs razor
-not a fun time
-youll probably need to replace your razor after 2 uses with this method.
I also found that this worked nicely on the bikini area as well! it kept it smooth hair free for a few days, rather than it usually coming back within 30 hours.

I love this product! I use it for my legs, arms and hands. Before I had this I avoided most lotions because I have eczema and my skin is extremely sensitive to a lot of products. I’ve tried many lotions to keep my arms and legs moisturized without having my eczema flare up and this is the only product that works for me. It has also helped the itching of my eczema and I don’t need to use the steroid cream my dermatologist gave me as much.
The only problem I have is that it’s oily (of course it is an oil gel) so after I use it and touch things, the oil spreads to the area I touch. Usually I just wipe my palms on a towel or tissue to help with this.
I definitely recommend this product and hopefully it works for you too.
