My hair fell out!

I find I need to wash my hair far less often now I’m over 60, than I used to have to. So I’ve dialed waaaay back on shipments of Wen Cleansing Conditioner. This month, I opened the box and was surprised to see a beautiful new label and a new formulation — Winter White Citrus. Since I needed to wash my hair today, I decide to go ahead and try this variety instead of the (now rather boring) Sweet Almond Mint I’d been using for a while. The label on this is a vibrant red and pink and white — very pretty. The bottles have always been hard-to-handle in the shower, in my opinion, and this one is not different.
I don’t get a lot of the sweet notes in this. In fact I would have guess this was Tea Tree, if I had to blindfold test it! I thought that might be because I didn’t clean the Sweet Almond Mint from the plunger lid when I put that on this new bottle; but I went back and smelled the Sweet Almond Mint and then the Winter White Citrus, and the Citrus definitely smells, overwhelmingly, of Tea Tree, while the Mint in the Sweet Almond Mint smells sweet in comparison!
I am not a fan of toothpaste-scented hair. However, the cleansing action works as well in this as other Wen varieties. Now a few hours after washing, my hair doesn’t seem to smell like mouthwash, but it is soft and clean. My scalp also feels clean. So the product is doing the job of cleaning my scalp and hair, it just isn’t quite the kind of aromatherapeutic experience, that I would prefer.
I have gotten “seasonal” varieties of Wen cleansing conditioner, before, and they were pleasing, but this one just seems unappealing. If you love tea tree oil, you might love it. I am still puzzling over what citrus is “white” actually. I’m glad that I got several small sizes in other “flavors” in this shipment and I’m hoping Fig won’t similarly smell antiseptic to me!
I would (and do) buy Wen cleansing conditioner again; this review rating is specifically meant for the Winter White Citrus variety.

Winter White Citrus is Chaz Deans newest for the 2014 winter season.
*Scent-Totally reminds me of orange spiced gumdrops candy!!!! Its super light but yummy!!! (think of a light citrus orange with a hint of spice & faint sweetness)
*I have naturally curly 3b curls and my hair loves this CC! Its pretty creamy and gets frothy easily. Rinses out well. It gives pretty good moisture to my curls and really good volume!!
100% repurchase and I already did get a 32oz bottle lol
