This is one of the products from my trial kit that I repurchased in full size. When I use this shampoo, followed by the Balancing rinse and Moisture lock conditioners, I get nice curls. My previous go-to shampoo, Joico k-pak color, has kept my hair in great condition but it seems to flatten my curls. So now, though I still use Joico (at least until the bottle is empty), when I want my hair to curl well I always use this shampoo. The clarifying one from Ouidad is also good though, I’m not sure which one I like better. Will most likely repurchase this in any case.

Excellent for gentle cleansing. Although I try lots of hair products, this is a staple I know I can count on.

All of Ouidad’s shampoos use ammonium laureth sulfate as their cleansers. There’s no animal testing, per label. There’s nothing about this shampoo that makes it any better for curly/wavy hair that I can tell. It’s a nice shampoo, but I prefer a shampoo that has fewer ingredients.
