Just a meh product. It didn’t strip the oils from my hair as much as cheap shampoos do and my scalp didn’t feel itchy after using this, thank goodness.

I tried the conditioner and shampoo combo. It seemed to dry my bangs into this silky, shiny look, but I don’t feel I saw a difference in the rest of my hair. The smell doesn’t bother me at all. Wish I liked this product.

I’ve been using Sulfate free shampoo for years now. I purchased this on sale. The smell is ok, lathers well, doesn’t dry my hair out. The only problem is my hair looks oily after two days. I usually go at least four days between shampoos. This shampoo makes my hair very oily. I will not repurchase. I’m give the rest to my husband to use.

I’ve started to use it back in 2006 when my hair were normal and not chemically treated. Back then I had to wash them every day. This shampoo left my hair shiny and beautiful, just for a day, next morning I had to wash again.
I switched to other brands for a while but now I’ve tried to get back to Biosilk.
10 years later my hair are dry (really dry, genetics, thanks to my parents) and this shampoo that makes them look healthy and easy to brush. It doesn’t mess with my scalp, it doesn’t give me dandruff (lots of other shampoos do).
It works well when I blow-dry my hair but turned out to be total disaster when I let my hair air dry. WTF! Greasy awful mess out of shower.
Without blowdrying I had an impression that A – I forgot to wash; B- I forgot to rinse; C- I haven’t seen a shower for a week.
I’ll buy it again, because I’m allergic to too many hair products and even this one is not perfect, it is still the best I’ve tried.
P.S. I wish they repackage it. It’s very difficult to get it out once the bottle is about to end.
UPDATE (March 16th):
Won’t repurchase it, the shampoo is the product that has to be blamed for drying hair of some people. I run out of conditioner and realized how not excellent is the shampoo is on it’s on.

Before using this product, my hair was very silky and shiny. After coloring my hair I decided I needed a color treated shampoo and I grabbed this. Highly dissapointed with it. It made my semi oily hair feel super oily (enough to where at the scalp it almost feels like chunks of my hair are sticking together) and then it made the ends feel like straw. I’m not even going to finish the bottles. 🙁

I have very thin and straight hair and this shampoo & conditioner works very well for my hair.
For styling I use also the spray Thermal sheeld and the volume powder. It works for me even the biosilk serum. I love it and buy it more times again. It give me a good natural volume and a good hold.
The packaging is a little bit oldfashioned. The price is high but for me it is worth it.

Made my hair generally look good but it gave me scalp psoriasis . Itchy and totally flaky.

I don’t get the negative reviews either. I got a huge bottle at tj maxx for $16.00. It leaves my hair feeling silky with no greasy residue. Yes the price can be outputting, but this stuff works good and is worth the tj maxx price.

I am really surprised to see so many negative reviews. I absolutely love this shampoo and conditioner. My hair is extremely soft and the silky scent doesn’t go away until the next wash (I wash my hair every 2-3 days).
This shampoo has helped me out after major color changes and I will definitely keep on buying this series.
Also a tip – you can often find it in stores like TJ Maxx and Marshalls for half price. Usually it’s around $30-$35/bottle and in those two stores they have it for $15-$20/bottle.

This made my hair feel like it was going to crack off. My hair is not dyed and is blonde, very long & curly so it gets incredibly dry. I bought this because of how great the serum is but this was a huge letdown.
