Another good shampoo from Suave. The ginger scent is amazing and unique from the typical fruity or floral smelling hair products. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling dry but it could be a little more cleansing. I have to use more of it than most shampoos to get the oil out of my hair. This works well though and I would buy it again for the scent alone.

Wow. I am really impressed. I haven’t used any Suave hair products in years and just picked up the shampoo and conditioner at the local grocery store for super super cheap, like under $2 for each bottle. I had heard positive reviews on the Suave Professionals lines and since I just ran out of my high-end Wella shampoo and conditioner and can’t afford to re-purchase those at the moment so I was looking for something inexpensive. First off, the shampoo and conditioner definitely surpass the smell test! They smell amazing! After using the products and blow drying as usual, I was surprised at how much volume my hair had! I have color-treated hair but the bottles say that both the shampoo and conditioner are color safe, and I haven’t noticed any color fading as of yet. My hair felt very full of life and volume, the color looked bright and shiny, and I can’t stop touching it! It feels so nice and soft. This is all coming from someone who typically buys high-end salon products such as Wella, Redken, Paul Mitchell, Biolage, Pureology, etc… So far, this shampoo and conditioner has had the same, if not better results than most of these expensive brands. I am beyond happy I gave Suave another try and will continue to use the product!

this is a very strongly perfumey shampoo. the smell wont dissipate at all. to make things worse rather than being volumizing it weighed my hair down. i was one perfumey, greasy mess. if youre like me and prefer a fresh, clean scent pass on this one. i prefer the suave natural infusion seaweed & lotus blossom from this line….fresh scent and super body building.

When I saw so much positive reviews on this I was like I need to try this shampoo and see what it’s all about. When I went to the drugstore all they had was the big bottles and I was skeptical because I was like what if I do get this big bottle and I don’t end up liking it. I took the risk and got both the shampoo and conditioner. I don’t regret buying this! I love the smell, it leaves my hair so so soft and manageable. I was very impressed with this shampoo it left my hair feeling clean. I went through one big bottle of shampoo and two big bottles of conditioner because my sisters enjoyed using it as well. So happy I tried this out and I would recommend it because it’s a great shampoo especially for it’s price.

I have very manageable, soft, straight hair, so I don’t buy hair care items for any miracle cures. I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner exclusively for the scent. It smells SO GOOD. Fresh, clean hair is what this stuff will give you.

I’ve been on the hunt for a decent shampoo for my fickle hair. Suave to me had goo shampoos and awesome prices. I picked this shampoo up and genuinely like it. It’s not out of the world or anything but it works great on my hair. I have a lot of fine color treated long hair. My end tend to be dry and my scalp more oily. This shampoo cleans my hair and leaves it soft at the same time. No real build up. The smell is nice. It didn’t cause irritation on my scalp. The quality is great and so is the cost. I would repurchase.

This stuff is nothing short of magical!! I have coarse, thick Irish hair and it has been the best shampoo for repairing the damage the Dove shampoo did to my color-treated hair. I firmly think this is better than my old Aveda products, as well. I went to bed with damp hair and was afraid of what I’d find, but I used the leave-in conditioner as well and wrapped my head in a towel, and voila, the softest curls that I’ve had in quite some time!! For the price, I don’t think you can beat the quality and results. Also the fragrance is really lovely!

Love this shampoo and conditioner! It says on the bottle it’s compared to Pureology but I think it’s more like redken all soft…the old formula. It leaves my hair super silky, shiny, and soft! I don’t see a whole lot of buildup from it but I clarify once a week. I have super fine hair and this combo is heavy on the hair but soooooo worth it!!!!

I was really excited to try this and the accompanying ‘dish, but neither one of them worked great on my dry, color treated hair. And this definitely left my scalp feeling a little itchy; not horribly so, but enough to be annoying. Needless to say, I won’t be repurchasing.

I LOVE THIS!!
Suave finally got a fragrance that I can tolerate! I smelled this both shampoo and the Macadamia Oil/White Orchid while I was at CVS the other day and this scent smelled much better. The Macadamia one is very sweet and kinda smells like vanilla, which I sadly, can no longer tolerate. I’m sure sweet Suave scent lovers out there will swoon over it. Anyhoo, the Awapuhi Ginger/Honeysuckle does not smell like Awaphui (I’m thinking old school Paul Mitchell) or Honeysuckle but it does smell fresh and clean and that’s probably why I love it. I’ve been using it about a week. The shampoo leaves my hair just a tad bit tangly (that’s why I took off a lippie) but the conditioner does a good job of detangling so I live with it. I blew out my hair this morning and I could be crazy but I seem to have a tad more volume. Will keep using and update my review.
