Two for $5 at Rite-Aid? Compared to how much for shampoo conditioner sets at Ulta ($30? $40 or the Kerastase at my salon don’t ask?) ANY GOOD? I got this on recommendation of my bff who uses the Keratin version (I got the wrong one.) The “Moroccan Infusion” claims argan oil and making hair sleek and shiny. The detergent is Sodium Laureth Sulfate, so not sulfate free. This is ok by me as sulfate-free shampoos make my scalp itch. At this price, I can try both varieties and I think there is a more clarifying one (Rosemary Mint? Copy of Aveda?) and there is a deep conditioning one with coconut oil, a deep moisture replenishing version and an almond-shea butter version. So these are leaning to the softening-moisturizing and less to the cleansing-clarifying.
Good points. Hair comes out clean and soft. Rinses out easily. No fly aways and no harshness. Not sure if it strips color or not.
Bad points: the fragrance is awful. Cheap perfumey semi-floral chemically awful. Someone said “grandmother’s house” I’d say “toilet cleanser.” They could have stepped this up easily and still kept the shampoo cheap. It’s almost bad enough to not repurchase but for the price, wow, you get performance and maybe pay ten times LESS than beauty supply brands.
My friend swears by the Keratin smoothing version. This one works well and leaves hair soft. No static when conditioner is used.

I’m Loving the newer Suave line in the Gold bottles.I have tried probably all of them …I don’t have any complaints.I like to change my shampoo up as not to get a build-up.The prices are great! ….

Perfect shampoo, affordable too. I have dry, fine, blond hair that is color treated. This makes my hair super shiny and the color look fresh but doesn’t make my hair or scalp feel dry. I love the way my hair looks and feels after this. I have bought many shampoos only to return to this one.

I heard a lot of great things about this shampoo but unfortunately I haven’t had a good experience with this product.
First off I have long, thick, fine hair and it’s not very oily, I usually only wash every 2-3 days. I tried this out and noticed immediately that my color was running. I though maybe it was because I had just gotten a fresh dye job so I continued to use it but not joke my color was running 3 weeks after getting it done, it normally only runs for the first 2 washes. I did get a lot of compliments on the smell and it left it very shiny, but also left my hair flat. This could be good for someone who doesn’t have color treated hair… needless to say I will be going back to frederic fekkai.

After seeing so many positive reviews and having not used Suave for many years, I decided to have a leap of faith and buy their Moroccan Infusion Shine Shampoo & Conditioner. That was money down the drain for me, no pun intended. It will be years before I ever consider purchasing Suave again. After shampooing, I always use a few drops of conditioning oils in my hair before I blow-dry, along with a shine cream. Even using those didn’t help what this shampoo & conditioner did to my hair. It is the most drying shampoo I have ever used. Moroccan Infusion? I don’t think so. It left my hair in such a dry condition, with so many fly-aways and so much frizz, it was completely unmanageable. My hair was no longer soft, it was just dry and had that brittle-like feeling. My hair is color-treated, but the bottle is listed for color-treated hair, so that isn’t the problem. After a week, I went back to my regular shampoo & conditioner, and my hair is much better. Guess I’ll just use the rest to launder unmentionables…

Suave Shampoo has really stepped up their game! The Professional line is so far superior to the regular Suave…which I once used (never again!)
I bought this out of curiosity, never thinking I would love it.
It’s fabulous!
This is a gentle, very lightly scented (in a good way) shampoo infused with Moroccan oil.
It leaves my hair very manageable, soft and sleek, yet it has body. My hair doesn’t feel flat, nor greasy from this shampoo.
It’s a good consistency, lathers well. I don’t really find it necessary to lather it twice before using the matching conditioner.
It’s my favorite shampoo!

I prefer salon brands for they are much gentler and have a higher concentration of the natural ingredients like argan oil for example then a drugstore brand. This product has very little argan oil in it.
Sadly most salon brands are too strongly scented so I often switch to a drugstore shampoo like suave professionals that have a scent I can tolerate.
I like this shampoo for I like the sleek and straight look and this acheaves it without the need for a flat Iron

Update.
I still periodically us this shampoo/conditioner. I do not use it often for like I said very little Argan oil in it and so many other drugstore brands like Herbal Essences new line and Garnier Whole Blends has argan oil higher up on the ingredient list. I appreciate the good results in dirt cheap shampoo but I feel people will be willing to pay a little more for more natural ingredients

I have tried every shampoo and conditioner by every brand out there, in every price range imaginable, and every single time, no matter what, I come back to Suave, and specifically to this Moroccan Infusion, and I don’t know why I fight it, this is a shampoo and conditioner system that works for my hair.
It doesn’t do anything crazy, it’s not something that works magic in my hair, but it has always consistently left my hair much more manageable than any other product, and while I’ve lost hair with other products, I have never lost nearly as much hair, if any after a shower when using this product. It’s very gentle, and it has a nice sort of musky scent to it, which is still feminine but I have never liked scents that had the more fruity or vanilla like notes to it, so this scent to me is perfect for what I look for.
I think if you’re going to buy a shampoo and conditioning system, you can certainly pick a lot worse out there that will leave more of a dent in your wallet. I trust Suave on my hair and it works to manage my dryness.

I’ve only used this one time, but it left my hair manageable with more shine and in better condition then when I was didn’t use it. Will update if anything changes!
Update: This shampoo isn’t as moisturizing as the old formula of the Redken All Soft with avocado oil, but it’s pretty close for a drugstore product. It’s worth using. My hair doesn’t get oily a few days after like other shampoos with oils I’ve tried. It’s really worth a try for $2 bucks!
Update: This shampoo cleaned the hair but it leaves it feeling stripped of the natural oils, it doesn’t moisturize the hair at all. My hair doesn’t feel absolutely terrible or frizzy or anything, but it feels super parched. I don’t think I’ll be purchasing this again after I’m done with the bottle. I think I’ll stick to my Redken All Soft or try the Perfect Hair Day shampoo by Pureology or something…

I like and hate this shampoo because I have basically straight hair and I love the way that this shampoo makes my hair look and feel like I straightened it but I don’t like that it makes it almost impossible to curl my hair using no heat.
