I’ve only ever used the shampoo, I never tried the whole range with conditioner whatsoever, but I can tell this shampoo is kinda okay.
It won’t do miracles to your hair, but it made my hair undeed feel stronger after a couple of washes. Even when I switched shampoo the feeling didn’t go away – which means the shampoo actually made my hair strong instead of just making it feel stronger (like some shampoos and brands do).
It smells nice and the consistency is creamy and rich. It also moisturised my hair a lot – I was able to detangle using only the shampoo, no conditioner needed.
If you don’t mind products with silicones, sulfates and alcohol you should definitely try this out.
Besides, the bottle is huge. You’ll have shampoo for a year

My hair has been dyed, bleached beyond necessary, has chlorine in it, blow dryed, and straightened very much. This shampoo and conditioner has been the BEST product I’ve honestly ever used. Not only does it repair it does what it says and that’s strengthen. It’s a shame I can’t find it at my closest Walmart. It’s the only shampoo and conditioner I ever wanna use. If there were a contest where I could pick anything to get for the rest of my life this would be it. I absolutely love it!!!!

Just an average drugstore shampoo.

THIS SAVED MY HAIR.
I have thin hair, and I’ve been dyeing it for years. It had gotten to the point where my hair ends felt like straw, and my hair broke all the time. I knew I needed something to fix it, so I bought this shampoo and the conditioner, And HOLY CRAP it actually worked. Now when I brush my hair it doesn’t just break, even when it’s wet.
My hair stylist even remarked how my hair felt stronger and was healthier after using this shampoo for about a month.
I will say, It’s important to use the whole line together. I use the shampoo, conditioner & deep conditioner, and together, they’ve saved my hair from breaking all the time, but if you just use one and not the other, it won’t work.
They also smell amazing!

Decided to give the shampoo and conditioner a try and not loving it. I have relatively healthy hair, with some heat damage so I wanted to see what good the Platinum Strength range could do. The shampoo makes my hair look and feel like a crispy, dry broomstick. Can’t leave the shower unless I go with the conditioner too. That softens the hair a lot. However, I’ve begun to see dandruff in my hair which has never been a problem before and it’s seriously making me think of putting the product away under the sink.

I hate this stuff and I hate the conditioner I never use heat on my hair and so its very healthy. This stuff makes my hair feel like I use heat every day, like its a broomstick. It’s currently under my sink as a last resort.

This is the only tresemme shampoo along with the conditioner I love. This is the only pair from the line that has so far worked for my hair. It has that classic salon clean smell and really keeps your hair clean and smelling wonderful. I absolutely love it and will repurchase this again.

Fairly good for a drugstore conditioner. Doesn’t detangle as well as or make make my hair feel as soft as my holy grail Fekkai shea butter conditioner does.

I love this stuff, and use it when I can. It makes my hair soft and less tangled. I’ve used it since I started using conditioner.

I have used this off and on since it was introduced. I have tried many conditioners and this is by far the best I have tried. I have fine, natural honey blonde hair and this conditioner moisturizes it and leaves it so soft and shiny. It smells great also! I have used Tresemme since I was in high school and I won’t use another brand. My hair responds best to this brand and I have tried salon brands and drugstore brands. I will always purchase this conditioner!

I was excited to get this because I got a huge bottle for like, $1 at CVS (sale plus coupons). But this didn’t work for me. I just dyed my hair again so it’s even drier than usual so I was hoping for a heavier conditioner. This is TOO heavy. It’s feels waxy and makes my hair stiff, not soft. Also the huge bottle doesn’t have a pump, so it’s especially awkward in the shower. Have you ever dropped a shampoo bottle on your foot? Well, this one is heavy enough to break it. Usually I like Tresemme but this is an exception.

Love this conditioner along with the matching shampoo. I also tried the deep conditioning mask to go along with it and I love it. It’s not one of those heavy mask that you use once a week it’s more of a mask you can use daily because it’s so light weight yet it does the job perfectly. Though I have dry thick hair this does really make my hair soft and manageable.

This product is ok, but there are better out there, for sure. I use this in conjunction with the shampoo from the same line. My hair has been a bit dry while using the Platinum Strength line. I usually wash my hair every other night, and on the nights in between, I just wet my hair in the shower and don’t add anything to it except some shampoo on my bangs if I need it. I bought the HUGE bottles of these, with the pump, and have had them for months. I like to use up products before getting more, so I’ve stuck it out with these. I’ve officially finished off the conditioner (you’ll see why), but not the shampoo yet. I have had to change my routine a few times because of the way my hair reacts to these. First I changed to washing my hair with both shampoo and conditioner every other night, and conditioning my hair on the nights in between. Recently I have had to change it up to washing my hair with both shampoo and conditioner on one night, then the next night using conditioner only, then the next night using nothing and just wetting my hair. So basically I fully wash every 3 days. Can’t wait until I run out of the shampoo and can try something else. Also, as a wavy-haired girl, different shampoos/conditioners make my hair react differently in texture, too. I’m sure others can relate. Some hair care lines make my hair lay straighter, some cause it to be quite curly, some cause it to be merely wavy, etc. This makes my hair wavy, but not in a cute way. It looks almost straight on the top layer of my hair and then the bottom layer is very ripply looking, almost as if I didn’t brush it after my shower. Because of this I have tried to blow dry it on a cool setting while constantly brushing to try to straighten it all out. This has failed. It comes out to be just poofy. Now I pin-curl my hair at night to try to get it to look like I at least tried to look put together lol. This seems to work alright, but after the nights where I both shampoo and condition, the curls seem to fall out very quickly and frizz up, turning into frizzy waves. Weird. I would also prefer it if the packaging was in a squeeze-bottle where the caps were large and flat and locate at the bottom of the bottle so that the bottle stands on the cap and the product is always at the bottom, ready to be squeezed out. Those are my favorite containers. I never have to shake the bottle and bash it against my hand to try to get the product to come out. The pumps were nice, but on the conditioner pump, it constantly clogged and that was annoying.

I dont like this at all. My hair feels coated, waxy, dirty and rough. It justs get drier as the day goes on, no moisture at all.

I am a hairdresser and there are times I’ll give a cheap shampoo and conditioner a whirl and usually all is good! It’s a good break from the over concentrated-ness of salon brands.
I used Tresemme products way back before I became a hairdresser and discovered salon quality product and it was always usually my go to supermarket hair product and never had problems. It has been years and I noticed this new platinum strength line and thought I’d give it a go as over the years I’ve never really had problems with Tresemme products.
I bought the shampoo and conditioner in the small bottles.
I noticed the bottles were both only just over half full and was pretty annoyed by that but still decided to give it a go.
The shampoo gave a nice lather, nicer than any shampoo I’ve ever used and cleaned my hair really well but it cleaned it FROM ALL ITS NUTRIENTS. I have never felt my hair like that before… like straw… so I then used the conditioner…all felt better again…
until I blow dried my hair and it became a tangled, frizzy mess that i couldn’t run my fingers through…
Not a fan of the platinum strength range but I do like their moisture range.

I have damaged and dry hair from a perm I had half a year ago. When I first read the reviews and saw the claims the brand promised, I was so excited to try this out. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed with the results. I was very patient with this shampoo, waiting for just over a month before I decided it simply does not work. I believe that tremme’s claim that this product repairs up to 2 years of damaged is too cocky. It does not come close to doing what it promised so I was disappointed. I know everyone have different hair types and it might worked for a few people, but this review is based on my own personal experience with this product.
The first problem I noticed is that hundreds of my hair fell out when I rinse the shampoo off. Its normal for me for a few strands of my hair to fall out when I wash my hair, but the amount that fell off when using this shampoo was unnatural (lucky that I have thick hair).
The second problem I had was the shampoo build up in my hair. I had to rinse my hair for a quite while to ensure all the build up are gone. Also, I notice the drain in my shower has clumps of the shampoo which made me take a notice in the buildup in my hair.
The last problem I had is that my hair felt strawy after it dries. I don’t like using heat in my hair, so I don’t blow dry my hair (preferring to let my hair dried naturally) so I know that it is not a heat problem. I also used the conditioner with this shampoo so it could be possible that it is the conditioner problem. Either way, I would not recommend this product.

I used the Keratin Smooth range and seen the platinum strength so decided I might as well try it. I have thin, dry hair that gets really greasy quickly and wash it once every two days. When I first used this (along with the deep conditioner) my hair felt smoother and looked thicker and just overall better. I would definitely recommend this

A very good affordable conditioner, that leaves hair shiny, manageable and less dry!
I prefer this over the treatment mask that is also in the same line, nevertheless a very good drugstore option!

I have tinted blonde hair that is in really good condition. Had a Walgreens coupon so I decided to try this, just because my hair is really static-filled in the winter. This was by far one of the best conditioners I have ever used. Not only did the static disappear, but my hair was shinier than it had been in a long time. It is a little pricey without a coupon, but a little goes a long way. Now I use this three times a week and my hair is full of body and shiny. Love this stuff!
Gave it a “3” for the slippery tube it comes in. Don’t they realize our hands are wet when we are using these products? Do I have to put a rubber band around it like a dork???
solidFerret3
I have dyed, bleached and used an abundance of heating tools on my hair. This stuff works amazing to keep it looking healthy.
