I really wanted to love this product. In theory, the idea of a no rinse shampoo is AWESOME considering all the dry-shampoos on the market just make my hair look worse. However, this too was a flop.
No Rinse shampoo did not cleanse my hair. It did not lather the way the advertisement pics do. And to make matters worse, since this requires 0 water….. you have to use a LOT of it. I went through half a full size bottle the first try. My hair is down to my waist for reference.
I could only see this product working for those with extremely short hair AND dry scalps.

Before dry shampoo, specifically klorane as that was THE first dry shampoo I tried, I bought this stuff. It only took me eons to review because it’s been hiding out under my sink and the other day I just decided to give it another go.
First I like the smell, it’s clean and subtle, great if you need to deodorize. If you put enough in your hair, you can get it to a nice lather, and there is no rinsing required. It seems slightly more convenient then hopping into the shower or when your camping if there is nothing else available. The dropper nozzle of the bottle is alright, it’s easy to dispense.
I didn’t like the residue it leaves behind. My hair feels sorta sticky like there is product in it, and although it isn’t too greasy, I know my hair and it’ll get pretty bad in the next few hours. I also think this would be better for men or women with really short hair, it seems like the squeeze and rub with a towel thing would be more convenient for them. Picture just shampooing your hair not exactly in a sink but out of the shower in your bathroom and towel drying. Not very easy, and I did blow dry and style afterward but it wasn’t easy as whatever ingredient is left behind on my hair, it became difficult to dry. I did like how it was a little thicker feeling. I did only apply to my roots but some ran down to my strands which was not my intention.
Overall I much prefer dry shampoo, it’s soo easy and the results are fabulous! My favorite is Batiste, they have many types and fragrances now to choose from. And if I could afford it, hands down Klorane!

I was trying some dry shampoo and did not like the unnatural feeling of my hair. This is very good alternative without alcohol. I also used for my camping/backpacking trips. I mixed 1:4 with water in an empty travel sized bottle for better result (as per review from REI). Also available at REI stores for regular 16oz ($4.50) and 2oz travel sizes ($1.50).
For my camping/backpacking purpose, No-Rinse Shampoo Cap is not that great as regular No-Rinse Shampoo but great for my mom’s post eye surgery hair cleaning.

No Rinse Shampoo by CleanLife Products is sold at Sally Beauty Supply for around $5.99-6.99.
My hair requires flat ironing so I don’t like to wash frequently, also I have a lot of hard minerals in my water. I remembered my ex’s mother used this since she had hard water problems too, and she raved about it to me once when I came over unannounced and she was washing her hair with this!
The shampoo is liquid form, clear, comes in a 16 oz. bottle with a flip top spout. The formula smells clean not fragranced. This shampoo is used in hospitals and approved by NASA!
All you do is rub the no rinse shampoo into your hair and the gently lather. Then you towel dry (I let the formula sit a minute on my hair to absorb greasies close to my scalp). Then you comb out and style.
My experience was awesome! Seriously, go get one and then grab anyone you love one they are that wonderful! This is great for anyone who doesn’t have time after a workout to wash their entire head, but doesn’t want to have flat icky hair. I also see this being very helpful to new moms. I have a 6 month old and it is hard to find the time for anything elaborate – I can do this while my son is nearby and still pay attention to what he is doing. As a matter of fact, I don’t obsess about combing it out right away if he needs something. This is also great for hard water sufferers, my water is so awful that was my main motivation for trying this! Also, I would recommend this to anyone who is sensitive.
Pros: Smells nice and clean, easy to use, hair was super easy to style, not white residue on my dark brown/black hair (unlike Batiste spray), quick, cheap, absorbed my greasies, great for travel if you aren’t sure what the quality of water will be – I know I will be taking this with me when I travel! No conditioner needed (for some people this may be a con – but my hair is greasier at the top so I only condition the bottom of my hair).
Cons: The bottle takes a little getting used to. I recommend pouring the contents into a smaller bottle as this one is 16 oz. and can be cumbersome when you are applying around your head! This is hardly a con – it is so easy to find bottles that can fulfill this purpose, check Sally’s while you are picking this up, they have plenty.
I used this twice already, the first time I did the crown of my head just to stretch my style one more day. Afterwards, it was really easy to style and my hair smelled clean, felt clean, my scalp felt refreshed and I was able to salvage the part of my hair that I hate washing (my ends)! I did my whole head today because I was a bad girl last night and smoked in my car and the smell of smoke was clinging to my hair. The shampoo got rid of the nasty smell, my scalp feels CLEAN, and my hair isn’t flaky at all. Best part it took less than 3 minutes!
