I think ION may have updated the formula. It has new packaging. I really like this shampoo. It has Argan Oil in it and my hair responds well to Argan Oil. Light scent will not bother those scent sensitive. My har looks healthy after useing this shampoo/conditioner

This is a gentle shampoo, but a little TOO gentle. I was never able to get a good lather out of it and didn’t feel like it cleaned my hair very well. A lot of times sulfate free shampoos don’t lather very well, but this isn’t even sulfate free. I wont repurchase.

Sally’s SA suggested this product for my thick dry hair plus it was on sale. This has a slight vanilla scent and its thick in consistency. Bottle says its 100% vegan, but I did not see information to know if it’s tested on animals.
This really did nothing for my hair…did not moisturize and felt like I was washing my hair with thick hair gel… it was that bad… tangled my hair pretty bad and made it look very dull and stiff.
I will NOT repurchase this mess again :/

Good product. I am very satisfied. It softened my curly hair which has sparse grays. No frizz! Works even better with the conditioner. I will definitely repurchase.

I’m writing down a review of the new version of this shampoo (Blue letters)
My hair had been feeling so dry and spongey. I saw it at Sally’s and thought why not? I didn’t want to buy a drugstore shampoo since they don’t clean the hair well. Ion is a good brand so I thought this would be it.
As much as I wanted to like this shampoo, I just didn’t. While it did tame my sponge, it didn’t clean my hair well, I felt a residue in it even after washing. It gave my hair some frizz (minimal) and my scalp just didn’t feel right.

This is probably one of the worst shampoos I’ve ever tried, I even think that the only pantene shampoo I used was better than this.

I like the smell really good, but not strong…Ive switched to this shampoo due to my dry hair and I have combined it with the extreme moisture creme (which I LOVE) and so far, my hair has improved in 3 uses within 2 weeks. I will update after maybe 2 months…

I use the Ion Moisture conditioner almost daily and love it. However, this matching shampoo does nothing for me. My hair did not feel clean and it felt like it left a residue on. Has a weird but mild sugar cookie dough scent that does not linger. I much prefer using Kerapro shampoo for very dry hair.
