I think they could rename this product NeverCurl or EverFrizz or NeverShine. Perhaps EverDry might work well. I gave it several tries, hoping a different combination of styling products would change my experience. However, my initial disappointment was maintained.
I really loathe this. I’ll probably use the shampoo as bubble bath or give it away (fortunately, I only paid 1$ after coupons, but what a waste of a good coupon!). I loathe it because my waves/curls were flattened and tortured, looked vaguely crimped after this. My hair mad me sad, especially when I touched it. It felt not just dry but brittle. There was NO shine.
Very sudsy, to the point of being difficult to rinse out.
One positive (and the reason I gave it a full two stars instead of one) is that it did leave my hair lightweight. Dead, dull, lifeless, curless, and unshiny, but it wasn’t heavy.
I neither loved nor hated the scent. Did not feel it lingered in my hair particularly.
Most disappointing “curly hair” product EVER. (Please note this is marketed for wavies and curlies; total fail.)

I have naturally thick, spiraly curly hair and I struggle to find shampoos that didn’t make my hair frizzy or dull. Before I found EverCurl by L’Oreal, but used Paul Mitchell’s Deep Moisture, and I thought I was happy. Let me just say, this stuff is heaven in a bottle. The smell is a very sweet, feminine almost rosy smell and it’s a milky white color. It’s sulfate free which is a big bonus, especially for other Curly Girls, and it’s free of parabens. It’s 100% vegan which again, is a bonus. It has a rich lather and even with my thick and waist length hair, about a quarter sized amount goes a long way. Before I seemed to have used a full handful of shampoo in order to clean my hair all the way through. Last but not least, it makes hair very soft and shiny and stays smooth even in humid weather. All my fellow Curly Girls, I definitely recommend this stuff!

Full disclosure, I received a sample of this product. (What is it about those sample packets that makes them so hard to tear open when they’re wet? Do the people who design the packets not realize we are taking these into the shower?) I have wavy swavy hair, so I suspect I’m on the edge of the Venn diagram of the target demographic for this product. But I love it. It left my hair soft and easy to blow dry, and it’s sulfate free so it won’t damage my color. I like the fragrance. It’s billed as Hibiscus Grapeseed, and it is sort of fruity-floral, but not obnoxious at all. To be fair, I’m comparing this to other L’Oreal sulfate free products which have a Rosemary scent that is quite frankly manly. This rosy sweet fragrance is feminine. I’m probably going to get the full size of this.
