I generally don’t like Herbal Essence products though, and this is the only exception I will make for the line. I have tried quite a few Herbal Essence shampoos, and the shine shampoo from the naked line none of which wowed me. This does have a very herbal scent unlike most of the products which are just very sweet and flowery. I like the rosemary mint, it’s very refreshing and clean smelling. Though this says it’s moisturizing I don’t think it would do much good for truly dry hair. I have very short hair (think Ruby Rose) that I am currently rehabbing from years of coloring. Since I no long color my hair is nowhere near as dry as it once was, but it is just a bit on the dry side. This provides just a tiny bit of moisture, and still leaves hair with body and bounce. It’s inexpensive, and paraben free both pluses in my book.

The shampoo has a warm herbal scent to me. It is pleasant I must say, although to some it may smell manly.
This is like a more hydrating version of the volume one. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t completely moisturizing, but leaves hair feeling fantastic after you’ve put too much stuff on your hair. It leaves my hair feeling clean, bouncy and shiny… but sometimes I must use a leave in or conditioner.

I really like the Herbal Essences Tea Tree shampoo so thought I would give this one a try. It has a very synthetic smelling scent of rosemary/men’s aftershave. It does not add moisture to my hair and left it feeling squeaky clean and like straw. The matching conditioner is also terrible.

This is my favourite herbal essence product. It’s scent is “herbal mint fusion extracts” and to be honest it’s the best scent herbal essences has come up with. And that’s saying something… It leaves my overworked dry damaged hair smooth and soft. It’s also an amazing de-tangler. I’m in love with this product!!

Recently my hair has been very damaged due to dying it and heat styling. I am used to having really healthy hair and I was so stressed out about the condition of my hair! Every shampoo and conditioner I used either worsened my hair or did absolutely nothing but this made my hair so soft and smooth! It also smells very nice and actually lingered on me throughout the day. My hair isnt as bad as it used to be. Definitely will repurchase.

I really wanted to like this product, but my hair is sooooo dried out! i got it trimmed not long before purchasing and now i have split ends and my hair is rough and stringy. i must admit in the morning the first day it looks nice, but towrds the end of the day and the next day (i wash my hair every two days) its dry and stringy. Maybe im using it the wrong way? but i dont rough handle my hair. i start using warm water then i wash out with cold water. I’ll see if there are any changes but i will most likley not re-purchase.

I mean it cleanses my hair but leaves it horribly dry and frizzy. I can’t deduct too many lippies because it does what it’s supposed to do. I guess I take more issue with the conditioner. This product is ok if followed up w a deep conditioner. Also I hate the smell. Very herbal and actually a very manly scent.

I love this shampoo its made such a difference to my hair before i started using this the shampoo i was using was cause my hair to be more oily then normal it was cause my scalp to be itchy and i also had dandruff after i couples of washes with this shampoo all of these problems have virtually disapered. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean with out feeling like its been stripped dried. Not the biggest fan of the scent really dont like the scent of lavender but im happy to put up with it while washing my hair cause the sent from my conditioner ( H.E. Naked shine ) counteracts the shampoo sent. Im going to repurches this when i run out as its my hair feel and look so healthy 🙂

This might be the best shampoo I have ever used in my entire life! I have hair that is very difficult to deal with — it is very long (waist length), thick, curly, and color treated. It frizzes if you so much as look at it the wrong way and tends to be very dry. I also happen to have a very oily scalp, which means I have to wash it every day. This shampoo is absolutely perfect. Not only does it smell nice (reminds me of Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint “Stress Relief” line) and lather well, but it leaves my curly hair feeling soft and bouncy. This shampoo provides the PERFECT combination of clean and soft. My hair definitely feels cleansed and free of residue after I use this, but it does not feel stripped or dry. My hair frizzes much less when I use this shampoo, and it just feels silky and clean. This has made my hair happier than any other product I have ever used!!!! My hair feels soft and refreshed, and at less than $5 a bottle, I couldn’t be happier.
