I love this – the scent and the fact it cleans my bleached hair without making it dry or stripped feeling. It’s a thicker formula than other VO5 shampoos, and at 99 cents couldn’t resist.
In the past, have been using conditioning shampoos, but was being left with FLAT hair. Have very dry hair, but obviously was OVER conditioning. Now using this fairly regularly, my hair doesn’t go completely flat the next day.
Hey, if it doesn’t work for your hair, use it as hand soap or body wash. Think it’s a great value.

I bought this for the scent really. I like the tangy fruitness, but it didn’t make my hair feel clean, yet it felt stripped after I rinsed it out. Definitely needed conditioner after using this stuff. Not worth the 75 cents.

Of course it smells nice, as do all the other ones from Alberto V05, but this, too, didn’t do much but clean my hair. It still feels coarse, dry and brittle; but then, I really don’t have much hope that anything will work miracles with my hair. Cleans well, almost like the clarifying kiwi lime set, which is my only favorite, as that DOES what it’s says and it smells the best! The pomegranate is just an every day basic shampoo. I got my set at Dollar Tree.

I never used a Vo5 product cuz i heard they were verrry bad, but i was looking for something with sulfates and no silicones (sounds weird, but i straighten my hair using silicone heat protectants, so i need sulfates to wash them out). Anyways, i saw that they were 74 cents. i looked through the ingredients, and this has biotin and niacin in it (and im trying to grow my hair out, even though im not sure that vitamins will work this way). For 75 cents, it couldnt hurt to try it.
I have mixed feelings about this. It didnt clean my hair completley (i had castor oil in it tho). I think if i had gone over it another time i would have been fine. I also think this would have been better if i didnt have any oil in my hair. This did moisturize my hair a little. Ill finish the bottle but might not buy this unless im desperate again.

Hated this, smells like chemicals, and left my hair a greasy mess, I ended up buying 3 different ones including strawberries n cream, which was the WORSE smelling of all of them, and i also bought the kiwi one, which worked the best but not by much.

I really wanted this to work for me, simply because it’s cheap. I picked it up at Walmart for $1, along with the matching conditioner. I’ve been using the pair for a few weeks now, and my hair has become a greasy, tangled mess. My hair is fine (but there’s a lot of it), bra-strap length with lots of layers, colored, and overall in decent condition. I’ve noticed that since I began using this shampoo and conditioner, although the shampoo is drying and the conditioner is thin, they leave a resudue on my hair that’s caused it to feel greasy and weighed down. A last complaint I have is that the conditioner is so thin, I’ve finished an entire bottle before I was even halfway done with the shampoo. If you’re looking for a cheap d/s shampoo and conditioner, Suave is just as cheap and works much better.
