I did not like this shampoo at all. I have quite a bit of shedding and saw absolutely no difference with this shampoo, actually, I had quite a bit with it. Besides that, towards the end of finishing up this bottle, (I bought the large one for 12.50 euros) my hair looked and felt like straw, it never felt clean and my scalp was so itchy! Will never buy tigi again as the previous tigi shampoo I used had the same effect. I now bought the KeraCare hydrating detangling shampoo and the Shea Moisture Fruit fusion coconut water weightless shampoo, both sls free, and my hair is back to normal!

Elasticate shampoo & conditioner has been exactly what my hair needed. After a winter of wind, rain and central heating, my dry hair was looking quite frazzled, and the deep moisturising Tigi oatmeal products just were not working any more. A couple of washes later, and my hair is in fantastic condition, no tugs when brushing, and nice & smooth.

I like how soft and nice my hair feels after using this shampoo. Yet a huge drawback that my fine long hair gets greasy in no time at all. Big difference from using any other shampoo.

Best shampoo ever!!! I’ve gone through way too many different shampoos out there and this has come to stay (at least for a little while). If your hair is damaged this is going to save it, basically over night. I’ve used this for about two months now and have the 750ml size, and it isn’t even near to be empty! My hair has gone from damaged, dry, brittle, not even capable of a cold blow dry to shiny, strong, healthy and can now take a little heat styling! I am beyond happy and impressed.

I’ve been using the shampoo along with the conditioner now for months, and I’m a big fan! Keeps my platinum hair strong and healthy. Love the smell too!

I really like this shampoo. It has protein and elastin which is supposed to strengthen weak or brittle hair. I’m not sure if it is sulfate free. It has a runny creamy texture and it lathers well but doesn’t feel ‘soapy’ and rinses cleanly. The scent is a subtle grapefruit and it does last but is definitely not overpowering. I pair this shampoo with the coordinating conditioner. My hair looks very healthy and shiny and is not weighed down at all. I notice slightly less hair in my brush each day so maybe it is helping strengthen it. My hair and scalp feel very clean but definitely not stripped, on the contrary, my hair feels moisturized. I’m on my third bottle of this shampoo/conditioner despite usually rotating my products. For reference, I have fine to medium hair that is slightly wavy and slightly dry that I flatiron daily. This product is approximately 8.5 oz. and retails for $14.

I recently started coloring my hair about a year ago because I was starting to get a lot of gray hairs(and I’m still in my 20’s, it’s depressing I know). And I’ve noticed that shampoos that used to work well on my hair doesn’t work as well as they did before. My hair seems to be getting more frizzy and that was never the case before. I was using BedHead Urban Antidote Recovery(Level 2) shampoo and conditioner until it had stopped working for me. It made my hair dry, very straw-like and it also irritated my scalp after 2 weeks of use. I needed something that would keep my hair soft, not frizzy and gentle on my scalp. BedHead Elasticate did just that after the first uses but then after a week it weighed my hair down! I find this to be very similar to Redken All Soft which also did not work out for me. This also gave me rashes all over my neck on my neck. I thought it was because of something I ate but it never went away until I stopped using the Elasticate Shampoo and conditioner all together. I was so disappointed. I’m a huge fan of BedHead products but after this experience it will be a while before I use one of their products again.
About my Hair: Super Long, color treated, straight (slightly wavy when dried naturally), fine hair but very thick, thinned out by salon, all over layers, scalp can be easily irritated and oily after 1 day.

My current HG Shampoo. I have very long, pin straight hair, so I have issues with oily roots, frizzies, split ends, and tangling.
I work at a salon so I’ve tried about a trillion different shampoos and conditioners. Ones for straight hair, curly hair, thick hair, thin hair, all kinds of serums and leave-in creams. Tigi Elasticate impressed me even more than my old HG, Matrix Sleek. This shampoo helps smooth and detangle beautifully. I feel like I have a silicone serum in my hair when I use this.
If you read the ingredients, it’s packed with glycerin, oils, and hydrolyzed proteins, so it can serve as an apple-a-day moisturizing treatment. It’s also one of the few shampoos that doesn’t make my hair oily within 24 hours. The packaging is totally wack on the small sizes, but the 750ml size comes with pumps!
