Works great on oily hair. Also sulphate free so you can use it after keratin treatment.

GODSENT! Especially for my thick, dry hair!
I purchased this off well.ca. It’s essentially a Canadian online drugstore. They sent me the Moisturizing Conditioner instead and when I called customer service, they let me keep the conditioner and sent me this shampoo for free! Officially my new favourite online store! Customer service is next to none, great selection and recyclable packing is used. I highly recommend it!

Anyway, the shampoo! My hair has been very unhappy lately because of the changing weather and the fact that my layers are growing out. What does this mean? Flat top, poofy dry ends. Essentially, pyramid hair. This shampoo is so lovely because it creates lots of volume at the scalp but isn’t so drying as to frizz out my hair! What I do is I wash twice (once with Head and Shoulders because I’m paranoid of dandruff and the second time with this). I massage it in and really get a nice scrub going on. Again, my hair is coarse and can take quite a beating, so adjust to your needs! I also wash it every other day. It’s gentle enough for that. Then I rinse and follow up with the accidental conditioner (which I will also review). Then I let it towel/air dry as much as possible then blow dry mainly my scalp for even more lift. I use a heat protectant on my ends but try to avoid heat on it as much as possible. Then I sleep on it to flatten my ends without having to use a flat-iron. It’s my regular routine but without this shampoo, I’d wake up to a really flat top, which is so unflattering to say the least. Now I have hair with body and shine. I can’t stop raving about it or flipping my hair in my room…Ahaha. It says for fine/limp hair on the bottle but it works BEAUTIFULLY for me! The smell is a very typical shampoo smell. Think Pantene, almost.
Oh and by the way: 98% plant ingredients! Bottle says “with certified organic botanicals. naturally derived. vegan formulas. SLS/sulfate, phosphate and dye free”. This formula is with “black tea, nettle and kaolin clay”. I paid about $6 CAD for this bottle. It’s flat and white and holds 325 mL. It definitely falls over easily in the shower if you aren’t careful and the cap is a bit of a nightmare. The packaging is the downfall of this product, but it truly isn’t so bad. The flatness makes it easier to pack, etc.
TRY IT! WILL DEFINITELY REPURCHASE! I love this shampoo so much, I: 1. started this review, 2. typed up all the ingredients and 3. uploaded the photo for it. And I have finals! Am I crazy? Yes, but I also love this shampoo that much.
