I bought this because I was out of sulfate free shampoo and had to quickly pick some up from Shopper’s. I usually use the pink fire shampoo, which I like, but I thought I would try something new for some reason. I picked this up hoping it would add some volume to my 3a curls. Unfortunately, it just makes my hair into a big puffy mess of undefined waves. While it does make my hair feel clean, it’s a little bit hard to lather. It doesn’t leave an offensive smell in my hair either, which is good.

I have thick, dry and damaged hair, So I wanted something that would nourish but volumize my hair at the same time. I picked up the shampoo and conditioner becuase it was organic and I thought it would be nice to try out a shampoo that might not damage your hair from chemicals. It is the BEST shampoo I have tried by far.
Pros:
Volumizing
Makes hair soft
Shine
Helps with your ends
Conditioner comes out easy
Hair feels nourished and not stripped
Does not get oily fast
Cons:
Not any yet!!:)

I hate it. I’ve bought it twice with the conditioner. I bought it a second time because it was on sale and I had remembered using it before but couldn’t remember why I didn’t repurchase. My hair gets greasy within a day and limp with this shampoo-conditioner duo (funny because it’s supposed to help with volume…). In addition, my shine completely disappears, despite the greasiness my hair experiences. Genetics wise I have great hair that grows fast, has a nice natural wave, and that I donate 8-10 inches of to cancer every 16 months so it’s definitely the shampoo that’s killing the bounce and sheen in my mane. It smells like any other shampoo and lathers so those aspects aren’t an issue. Overall it just doesn’t work for me. Note: I live in an area with extremely hard water so the majority of all natural detergent free shampoos don’t do it for me.

I bought the Clean Air conditioner and Shampoo because I have terrible issues with certain perfumes and dyes and waxes in other brands. I was hoping that this time I would hit the jackpot as they were on sale for $4.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart. I was wrong…no jackpot for me.
The product dried my scalp out so bad that I had flakes and itchiness. For a product with so many natural ingredients listed I thought that meant gentler for my hair. NOPE.
Then I began noticing that my hair was thinning. Now I can’t fully blame the Live Clean products as there are many factors that can cause hair to fall out. Stress, vitamin deficiancy, medications, pregnancy, hormones or even how you style your hair. My husband still uses the shampoo and conditioner and has had no issues. My recommendation is that if you have sensitive skin, scalp issues or hair loss issues that you may NOT want to try this particular Live Clean product. I hate to give bad reviews but I really did not love this Shampoo at all. …oh but it smells good. :)..lol.

this is the only shampoo my boyfriend uses for his fine shoulder length hair. It really is volumizing and make hair so soft and shiney. love it!

When I bought this, I just chose it for the cute packaging and cheap sale price ($4). I didn’t know it was SLS free and biodegradable etc.
Awesome!
It really does volumize but of course since it does that, it is a bit drying if you don’t use conditioner. I don’t care because my hair is oily and not really prone to damage (I don’t use heat styling tools).
Smells good, works, cheap, good for the enviroonment and you…why not buy it? I will probably be repurchasing.

I love this product! I have no clue why it gets such bad reviews. When wash my hair I don’t rinse it out. Instead I put olive oil on my ends and let it sit while I shave my legs etc. I rinse my up-side-down and scrunch dry with a old tee-shirt. Then I spray with flx seed spray gel I made and scrunch again. This turns my waves into beautiful wavy/curly hair. I will purchase again after I finsh my Yes To Carrots curl killers. Yuck!

I always switch aroubnd my shampoos and i always turn to this one again. it comes in various fomulas. i use this volumizing one and the colour treated hair formula sometimes as well. i love the fresh feel. it sulfate free, so it keeps colour in longer and doesnt contain harsh chemicals and yes safe for the environment, for those of you who are concerned about it.

I bought this product because I’ve had success with the Live Clean line, particularly the Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner.
I think this is a decent shampoo, but only when you consider my expectations. I did not expect this to add volume or build body; I expected it to clean my hair well and not strip it too badly of moisture. Regarding these stipulations, I consider this an average shampoo. While it doesn’t strip my hair, it does leave it somewhat tangled after I rinse. And it doesn’t always leave my hair feeling clean, but I’m willing to blame that more on the conditioner (which is a separate review). For the price ($5+ CDN), you can do better.
EDIT: I seem to be losing a lot of hair with this product and it’s conditioner counterpart. Unless you’re looking you thin out your mane, I don’t recommend.

I have like NO idea why this thing is getting such bad reviews here.
I used this shampoo once so far, and I LOVE THE WAY IT MAKES MY HAIR LOOK. it puts volume into my hair, my hair is normally super flat and super straight.
And it makes my hair smell SO good. its the best scent ever, even better than herbal esscence.
it has no SLS/sulphate, etc. it’s mostly natural, i love it. i live in toronto and i paid $5.99 for this, but it was on sale. 🙂 i love this, will repurchase.
