I’ve been looking into more sustainable beauty products, and this company was recommended to me. First of all, I love that their website has recommendations based on a variety of skin and hair concerns. I decided to try this shampoo bar because I struggle with oily hair and I love the smell of lime.
I got a $3 sample bar and, as I typically shampoo every three days, I estimate the bar will last me somewhere between one and two and a half months. You don’t need very much product at all to get a good lather. The scent is light and pleasant, and while I wish it would linger longer, the fact that it doesn’t could be a plus for people who don’t care for it. My hair didn’t feel stripped; it felt light and bouncy, even after drying. That was two days ago. It still is cooperating more than usual; I haven’t had to use any dry shampoo, which is unheard of for my grease trap of a scalp.
If you’re looking for a sustainable haircare option, definitely check out their website! If citrus isn’t your thing, fear not: they have a large variety of different shampoo bars in different scents for oily hair, dry hair, everything. I couldn’t recommend this enough!

I love this shampoo bar- it leaves my hair light and fluffy for two days without getting oily and my hair tends to get very oily during the summer. I thought it would be a hassle using the shampoo bar as I’m used to regular shampoos but it was easy peasy- I just lathered it up with my hands and then swiped the soapy residue through my hair. It’s left my hair so clean and fresh looking. My only gripe is that it doesn’t have much of a scent and I tend to like shampoos that leave a bit of a scent in my hair, however this isn’t too much of a biggie. Will be trying out other shampoo bars!
