I bleached my hair and dyed it teal (Peacock Blue by Crazy Colours) about 3 months ago. Being an unusual colour, of course some of it came out every single time I washed my hair. I started using this about a month ago, and it’s baffling how well it’s helping keep the dye vivid. Barely any colour comes off when I rinse it – and if you’ve ever dyed your hair some crazy colour, you know how unusual that can be. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but if you’re looking for something to keep your colour on, I’d highly recommend this.
Also, it’s sulfate free, which has done wonders for bringing out the waves in my hair. 🙂

This is the only sulphate free shampoo I’ve ever used, so I don’t know how it compares to others, but I really like this stuff, it cleanses well and leaves my hair feeling healthy and nice. Took a while to get used to a shampoo that doesn’t really lather/foam at all, so I probably used way too much at first, haha 🙂 Smells coconut-y, but not too offensively.
And I like Bonacure as a brand, but the lid/cap of their bottles is irritating, I feel like I have to squeeze the bottle really hard to get the stuff to come out.

The shampoo works fine for keeping red color shampoo last longer. Keeping my hair dry as long as possible before washing and using colder water than my body would like me to use helps as well. Otherwise color will go down the drain
But my scalp itches like crazy!
It smells nice, but that could be the source of my irritation.

This may be the worst shampoo I’ve ever used – and what’s worse, I paid £12 for the privilege! It’s really incompatible with hard water – my hair is left feeling dirty, dull, greasy and matted at the roots, and it doesn’t seem to dry properly. I hate using this – only the fact that I paid so much for it forces me to use it on days when I don;t care what my hair looks like and my natural waves disguise the hair nightmare somewhat. I definitely couldn’t wear this then straighten my hair – it would look disgusting. This has really put me off using sulphate free shampoos, this was recommended to extend the life of my Brazilian blow dry, but it’s honestly one of the worst products I’ve ever had the misfortune to try. I won’t risk buying anything else from Schwartzkopf again – I’ll stick to Redken and Kerastase from now on!
