Stylists always push products for curly hair on me even though I never wear my naturally wavy hair curly. Occasionally, the stylists win, with the usual result that I am left with a product I’m never going to use. I worried this would be one of those products, but fortunately, it doesn’t seem to turn my waves into curls (not that there’s anything wrong with curls; they just don’t suit me). Instead, in one step, it just cleans and conditions my hair without weighing it down. I love the pure-fume scent (though it could stand to be a bit stronger in this particular product) and the “spring green” bottle that looks so chic in my shower.
I will likely repurchase the next time I feel guilted into buying something, anything, at my salon. It’s not cheap and yet relatively inexpensive as Aveda products go–$24 for an 8.5 fl oz bottle. I hate paying that kind of money for shampoo and conditioner, but hey, at least it’s a 2-in-1 job.
