This is a very lightly cleansing shampoo with little foaming.
I believe that Kerastase (and even Elseve/Elvital) has much better cleansing products than this.
I find it performing less than adequate and the need to use much more than normally would be needed.
This is neither good for your purse nor for the environment, not to mention your hair (that will end up less than clean)!

My hair does not have much luck with the products from Kérastase and sadly this shampoo was no different. My delicate, wavy hair that I’m trying to grow out was flat, limp and looked really bad after just one use. A total opposite of revitalised…
However my biggest gripe with this shampoo is a total lack of introduction from the company for what type of hair it is actually designed. ‘Revitalising’ might mean ANTHING. Judging by the presence of salicylic acid in the ingredients list (and lots of silicones and SLS which my hair actually likes so I was not bothered) I guessed that it could have some clarifying action. And that is how I’m planning to use it, maybe once a week or every 10 days, especially that it takes 1-2 washes with a different shampoo to recover from this one! hence 2 hippies but it really should be just one. I’m hoping for a miracle, although at least it lathers well and smells nice.
Being completely silly I bought the balm too (it was on offer as a duo) and this one is even worse for my hair than the shampoo. When I use both, I actually look like I have a two year old’s hair. It gives me soft, unmanageable hair, I actually look like I’m semi-balding. Flat, fly-away mess of hair that clumps together and looks miserable and awful with no volume whatsoever. Not a look one would expect from a premium brand that is supposed to REVITALISE your hair!
Don’t be tempted with a beautiful bottle and expensive smelling fragrance (it does smell nice and high-end the fragrance stays in your hair) – if you have delicate, thin hair – avoid this product like a plague.

One of the best kerastase shampoo I’ve ever used. First I’m in love with color of the bottle and the cap (black and golden). A very sophisticated looking bottle. It smells nice, subtle and not overpowering. It also lathers and cleans my scalp as well as my hair without drying it out. My hair feels clean and surprisingly soft and manageable. More important there isn’t any buildup. In fact it removes any buildup in your hair so you can say it is a clarifying shampoo but without the nasty side effect that other clarifying shampoos cause. I’m using it along with the chronologist mask which is also amazing.

This shampoo works great as a clarifying shampoo to remove build-up from hair. I have thin strands (although my hair has volume) that have been color treated for years, so I always pre-treat my hair before shampooing by soaking it in coconut or camellia oils for a few hours. The I condition or use a mask, argan oil, some kind of anti-frizz spray, hair gels or pomade, so after 3-4 days my hair starts to look gunky. This shampoo works great to clean and I will continue using it, but took off points for the fragrance and the fact that depending on which treatment I use, it can be drying on long hair. I mean, it works great if I pair it with other Kerastase or Morrocanoil treatments, but cheaper drugstore stuff (Pantene, Dove, etc.) don`t work well with it.

Not worth the money. I have long color treated hair and my hair didn’t feel any different after using this 4 times. Returned it.
