I’ve been looking to switch to natural shampoo for two years but all the options I tried were too drying for my almost waist long straight fine hair. Besides I have oily roots, so I wash my hair pretty often and need something gentle but effective. This shampoo is almost ideal match. I say ‘almost ‘ because it’s works great for my dry ends, leaving them soft and preventing splitting but with constant use it causes some buildup so after 2-3 washes I use andalou citrus shampoo to remove it and then come back to argan again. Would probably suit perfectly for people with dry scalp. Works great with matching conditioner.

This smells great like a creamsicle and works well-lathers nicely and smoothly. It is a little like a cheapie but a goodie-but it is still good.

This is a great moisturising shampoo for very dry hair. I used it a lot when I was having difficulties with dry, frizzy hair and it left my hair soft and smooth. It also smells great – like orange sherbet. When my hair is more “normal” due to changes in season, I have to stop using this because it’s too heavy, but for fixing straw-hair it’s perfect.

I live for this shampoo and have gone through buckets of it. I have fine, wavy dark hair that’s almost bra strap length. Minimal color and heat damage. Oily roots, dry-ish ends.
Most hair products, especially those with sulfates of ANY kind, cause unsightly cystic bumps on my neck and upper back. Like, as soon as a strand hits skin. It’s really gross and until I learned I had a sulfate sensitivity I didn’t know how to deal with it. Even sulfate-free and natural shampoos could do this. This is the absolute only shampoo that has never, not even once, given me any skin issues while still making my hair look lovely without breaking the bank.
It lathers well, cleans without stripping, and gives some volume. It makes my hair balanced and happy. (Most of the Andalou shampoos do tbh, but this one is my favorite.)
And it smells like a creamsicle. Will repurchase until they stop making the stuff.

I really like this shampoo. I have not had the best luck with natural shampoos in the past but this one is worth trying if you are looking to try a natural shampoo. Lathers fairly well, smells like orange creamsicle, rinses pretty clean and doesn’t dry out my hair. I do wish it lathered just a touch more but honestly I don’t have much to complain about. This isn’t super moisturizing which isn’t a bad thing because I find shampoos that are too moisturizing weight my hair down. It is a little expensive though I think I paid about $14 at a health food store. Would repurchase.

I love the smell of this shampoo, soothing, refreshing and relaxing 🙂
This has one of the gentle cleansing ingredients. Do not cause acne, contact dermitatis or dandruff. Simlply nourishing ingredients for my hair.
This is good moisturizer for dry and wavy hair. This also help calms frizz and make my hair more manageable. Simply an amazing product 🙂 No silicones which creates an illusion of soft hair. This simply builds beautiful hair from the roots.
You can use this even without a moisturizer. This product equalls an expensive Kerastese!

I switched to this after Kiss My Face’s Whenever shampoo/conditioner started to bother me (waaaaaay too much lime!) and I absolutely love it. It smells divine. I’m allergic to fragrance, so any scented products have to be 100% natural and it’s really hard to find yummy smelling things that are safe for me to use and this one fits the bill! I usually lather twice because I have so much hair that I want to be sure I’ve actually cleaned it and this works up a really nice lather. I think I’m on my third bottle and I won’t be switching any time soon!

I wear my normal, fine chin-length hair in a bob. My fickle hair is neither straight nor curly. I blow it straight every 3 to 4 days when I shampoo and condition. Otherwise I use a straight iron for touchups. I don’t color or otherwise process my hair. I can’t use products with silicones of any type.
I’m looking for a shampoo that will leave my hair clean and refreshed but not stripped. I won’t say no to volume, but shiny, swingy, healthy hair is my goal. My hair doesn’t need a lot of additional conditioners. Formulas with many oils/butters tend to weigh my hair down and those with protein tend to dry out my hair. My scalp and hair are normal, so I tend to avoid clarifying formulas. I am a middle of the road shampoo gal.
Normally I would have chosen the Full Volume Shampoo but it contains biotin, a protein, so I opted for the Moisture Rich shampoo. The scent is lovely and light. Clean and a touch fruity. Although this uses a relatively gentle cleansing agent, this shampoo produces a nice, full lather. This shampoo doesn’t feel very moisturizing to me. My hair is squeaky clean when I rinse and is definately in need of a conditioner. This does contain some oils and butters, but I find the formula rinses clean. I have not experienced any build-up with this shampoo.
Andalou Naturals makes a pretty big deal about the stem cell technology included in their shampoo and conditioner. I don’t buy their haircare products for the technology. I don’t believe the stem cells make a bit of difference on my already dead hair. I suppose my scalp could benefit, but the products are washed down the drain at the end of my shower.
I am pleased with the Moisture Rich Shampoo. Overall this was a good, sulfate-free, silicone-free natural shampoo, which is a lot to ask for in a shampoo and not all that easy to find. Combined with the Brilliant Shine Conditioner, my normal, fine hair is soft, shiny and healthy. While I would certainly purchase the Moisture Rich Shampoo again, I am inclined to try the Brilliant Shine Shampoo since I didn’t find the Moisture Rich version very moisturizing.

It was ok but won’t repurchase. It did lather nicely for a sulfate free shampoo but after a while my hair got build up and needed a clarifying shampoo, made my hair stick together and my roots oily and wasn’t really moisturizing, I needed a good conditioner after this. Maybe because my hair was bleached and damaged but I didn’t really like it and got sick of the smell too. I did finish the bottle though….
