Woohoo! Another great drugstore bang for your buck hair product lol!
This shampoo was on sale @ SDM for $6.99 ( CAD) . The shampoo does not contain sulphate and I needed/ wanted a shampoo with apple cider vinegar to clarify once in a while especially since my hair is colour treated and the chlorine from the pool in summers take its toll.
The scent is sort of apple – like …doesnt not smell sour like actual vinegar which I was initially afraid of lol…It lathers very well and left my hair feeling healthy, clean, soft and shiny. It did not dry my hair out or leave it greasy and it did not strip my colour treated hair. Even without swimming, this shsmpoo gets all the gunk out from hard water etc. The ingredients are also safe, effective & gentle . Will repurchase. 5 lippies 😃.

I purchased this shampoo because I only purchase sodium lauryl sulfate and paraben free products for my hair. A few years ago I realized that sls was the cause of my itchy, dry scalp and after switching to gentler detergents, my scalp and hair was much happier. I loved the smell of this shampoo- it reminded me a bit of the Suave apple shampoo I used as a kid. It was indeed gentle on my scalp and my hair feels soft, but I don’t think it added a lot of shine. The Gloss Boss Unwind shampoo I have from Hask adds a lot more shine and has comparable ingredients. I’m undecided if I want to keep this as a gentle everyday shampoo or try something else. For reference, my hair is straight and tends to be oily. I have thin strands but a lot of them making my hair moderately thick and very prone to tangles. I avoid conditioner at the roots, but have to use it on the ends.
