I have never been much of a hair care kinda girl, so this was my first time trying a more expensive shampoo. I struggle with dandruff quite a bit and I decided to give this one a go since it was all natural and such.
Honestly I had high expectations for its ability to diminish my dandruff, but it felt as if I just had dandruff more frequently after using this shampoo. I do not know what happened there, but it didnt really work for me. I thought that when I used head&shoulders my dandruff was at least under control slightly…
HOWEVER, I actually really did enjoy using this shampoo. My hair felt way healthier and stronger. I am using it alongside with other products from the hair care line and I can definitely say that my hair falls out and breaks less. Plus, I really enjoyed the natural ingredients in this! When I first squeezed it on my hand, I could really feel the difference between this and cheap shampoo. It felt great and the smell of the shampoo is so relaxing, I definitely recommend trying it out if you dont struggle a lot with dandruff but looking for something to soothe your scalp. A little goes a long way, it is a really nice shampoo, just didnt really eliminate my dandruff personally.

I was so excited to try this for anti dandruff, what a let down. Nice shampoo but not worth the price. If it tamed my dandruff, I’d pay the money, but it didn’t.

So far so good.
Used it once and could already see a huge improvement.
I’m not crazy about the smell or the price but overall a good product!

The product directions indicate that you should alternate use of this product with a frequent-use shampoo, and I’d agree. It does seem like it would strip your hair if you used it every day, so I use it about 3x a week and try to keep it on my scalp only. It definately helps to keep the flakies at bay, and leaves my oily scalp feeling refreshed and clean. It has a “green” smell, which may seem medicinal to some, but the scent doesn’t really stick, and to me it feels and smells refreshing. I’d buy it again since it really does make my scalp feel fresh, clean, and dandruff-free. It may seem pricey at USD $17 a 10 oz bottle, but not so much when you compare it to others, plus it seems you only need a small amount to get the same amount of lather as other shampoos.
