I bought the little size 250ml pump pack of this shampoo and it has lasted me a whole year! It seems very concentrated – maybe a little too much as I noticed some very slight purple tones on my blonde hair after using it the first few times. After that I just made sure to not keep it in my hair too long, and when the level got low I watered it down a bit so that didn’t happen again.
When you pump the shampoo out it is very purple and you can smell the lavender and other natural ingredients quite strongly. It smells like lavender and daisies. I really like this and definately prefer this fragrance over many other hair product fragrances which smell like cheap perfume at best and toilet air freshener at worst. The shampoo lathers up really well for a good thorough clean.
I think this is also the only pump pack I have had in ages that actually kept working until the product was finished! I liked the smaller size as I said, even the small size lasted me a year, it tones so well I only had to use it once every week or two and it did a great job. I don’t like having massive bottles cluttering up my bathroom. So 4 stars for packaging 🙂 I would give it 5 but I’d have to be 100% sure it’s all recyclable for that.
I don’t remember how much I paid for this – it’s a salon product so would be priced accordingly but if it was really expensive I am sure I would remember.
The product has no sulfates, parabens or other nasty stuff. In fact most of the ingredients on the list you actually know what they are, not long chemicals names. There are about 3 chemical names at the end (which means there is the least amount of them). I am impressed that mostly natural ingredients give such an effective product.
This product is not tested on animals and uses organic natural ingredients. What more could you ask for? So that’s 5 stars from me.
Just make sure you rinse down your shower afterwards so it doesn’t turn purple!
