This is an okay shampoo- it’s light, it lathers well enough. The scent is light and clean. I’m not sure exactly what the scent is, perhaps soapwort? It’s a very light scent, not at all perfumey. The main problem with this shampoo is that it’s runny. It takes quite a bit to lather up one’s full head (especially if you have long or thick hair). Given that this shampoo is pretty pricey, it becomes pretty hard to justify given how much gets wasted. For a shampoo that’s just okay it’s not worth the price.

If I could choose “perhaps” under ‘Would you buy this product again?” I would. There were some things I liked about this and some things I didn’t. First off, this really tamed my hair very nicely. I have super frizzy & thick hair that I ultimately straighten (Greek hair, if you will) and this made my locks completely manageable. That reason alone is enough for me to possibly buy it again. The fragrance I also admired, it’s a soapy, fresh & clean scent, smelling mildly of aloe, but it didn’t stick on my hair that well, which I didn’t like. I also didn’t think it made my hair look as shiny and healthy as other shampoos do. Maybe it’s because my hair has been spoiled with high-end hair products and always make it shine and this is more of a natural, “less is more” type of product with less toxins, I don’t know. Either way, I’m on the fence. But if you have hair like mine, it’s worth a shot!

I found this shampoo at T.J.Maxx for $4.99 so, I thought I would try it. I did not have huge expectations however, I keep reaching for this over my huge array of shampoo choices. It seems like I never have a bad hair day when I use it and my hair looks healthy and shiny. I am probably going to be checking out more Korres products now.
