Awful product. Streaked horribly all over my body. Completely uneven color. Orangey color on my nc30 skin tone and stinks like you wouldn’t believe. I’m throwing these out immediately because they are that bad. Cool idea though having built in mitt. Made it easy to use. But the streaking orange mess you are left with is horrible.

Disgusting.
I’ve used many fake tanners for the past decade or so from the high end (St Tropez, Clarins, Estee Lauder) through to the cheap (Le Tan, Sugar Baby, L’Oreal). I follow the instructions to the letter; use great exfoliation products and moisturise my rough bits first. I do it all correctly and STILL this Modelco monstrosity streaked, stuck, made me stink and made me orange. I’m a neutral NW/NC20 and not really prone to looking orange, so it was a shock.
All fake tans smell; the colouring chemical simply stinks and there’s nothing you can do about it. But some smell worse than others and this one is really, really foul. I got taken in by the ‘convenience’ of a single-serve glove….a mistake.

First time I used this and it’s a gem! So easy to apply. There is no colour guide. But if you concentrate and follow the instructions, you can’t go wrong. I love the golden colour it gives me. No mess, no fuss. Love it. Quite expensive though. But a lot cheaper than the tanningbooth.

I have a very fair skintone (NW20 (barely) in MAC) and this product was nice! It didnt look orange but the only cons about this is it will stay on youre hands and make them look unclean and its hard (for me) to apply evenly. Overall a nice product!

WORST SELF TANNER I HAVE EVER USE!! I WAS ORANGE AND HAD STREAKS ALL OVER MY LEGS AND FEET!!

I cannot say how much i LOVE this!!!!
Its kind of like the Tan Towel, but 198732987213 times better. With tan towels id have to use 3 of them to get my whole body and it only takes one of these (including the face!).
This is soo travel friendly. I am a self tan junkie that has to be tan at all times, and this helps me travel while still keeping up my tan!
It does not have any color guide, which i love btw because it wont rub off on my clothes or look green (which most of them do), so its none of that nice golden face and jolly the green giant below the neck lol.
It dries pretty quickly and does not streak..
(but if stuff streaks for you its all about the application not the self tanner formula)
Another great thing, it ever so slightly exfoliates your skin when you apply it. (i know because my glove turns beige-ish after application, and ive taken a good shower and exfoliated prior to application).
The reason why this got 4 lippies is because of the amount you get for such money, but i guess all good things come in small packages (and are expensive), but whatever. No more lugging bottles of self tanner when i travel. 🙂 yay!
OH and i also found this at tj maxx and marshalls for loads cheaper, so i will be stocking up anytime i see it!

This was my first experience with ModelCo tanners and the colour is amazing – lasted 4 days before starting to fade (which it did evenly with me moisturising every day with a body shop body butter) which It hought was imrpessive compared to St. Tropez which takes 2-3 coats on my very pale (NC15) skin to get the same colour and then 3 days to fade completely.
Reason it got 4 lippies instead of 5 – no colour guide! You have no idea where you’re putting it and I ended up accidentally totally avoiding an elbow and had a vey white elbow. Also I’m 5’8″ and 56kgs and it takes 2 gloves to do my whole body, so it’s not cheap, and the large alcohol content means I’d put it no where near my face. Apart from that, amazing colour, very convenient and smells more of alcohol than anything else which doesn’t bother me. Already repurchased!

I wish Makeup Alley allows half lippie because I would actually rate this product as 3.5 lippie. These retail for $36 for a box of 4 individually packaged tanning glove. Each glove definitely has enough product for both legs and arms (some other areas if you are a small gal). The package said that the tan will last about 7 days. Anyhow, this products applies clear, so it is quite difficult to see what area you have applied (that is the reason Y I didn’t give it a higher rating). I am a novice when it comes to self-tanners, and my first time doing this, I got some blotchiness due to uneven application. HOWEVER, the color is very nice and it doesn’t look fake/orangely and is quite “tan” (reason I lean towards 4 lippies instead of 3) — I’m normally a NW20/25. In my opinion, It is quite pricey at $9/glove, but I will buy it again, because the packaging makes it so travel friendly !
