I am a long time user of xen tan after switching from another well knob self tanning brand. I purchased this as it said it was a nice dark, olive tan, which i use regularly to give my olive skin a little glow. I have no problems blending this in using a mitt and leave it on overnight before showering off in the morning. I do find I have to put two-three thin layers on at a time to get the desired shade but those with fairer skin may not need as much as this. It has a great guide colour and although still smells like fake tan, does have a beautiful scent about it that reminds me of holidays. It fades evenly and lasts me just short of a week, no patches no peeling, just a even glowing tan that fades subtly. I have/will repurchase

I cannot express how beautiful this tan is, the colour is DARK but neither green nor orange but a natural Brazilian shade of brown. It is my all time favourite tan to use.
Pros: the colour! Smell (very mild), doesn’t transfer too much. Doesn’t go patchy. Last around 4-5 days before noticeable fade. One application enough for visible results.
Cons: cost to size ratio means I can’t make it my weekly tanner and is strictly for special occasions. Used weekly it will around 3 weeks and is around £20.
Also, it remains quite hard to find and in uk seems strictly online only although it is getting more popular.

The only pro thing about this product is the packaging. This is not even a lotion it’s just pure dark liquid. But don’t let that fool you, as this product dries really quick. Even when you try to rub it in, it is impossible to make it even, as it just cakes up and leaves large lines of extra product. I fake tan on a regular basis so i have become a pro at blending and using a mitt, so i’m sure it had nothing to do with lack of experience. I spent way too much on this and just want to cry. Do not believe the reviews made by bloggers on google. I believed one made by an amazing blogger known as Liza Prideaux, her blog showed before, during, and after pictures of using the product. Unless she is extremely skilled at using self tanner I don’t know how she could have gotten this product to blend, because after using this product I am 100% sure she had to be using a different product in those pictures. I hope this review helps people. I tried to be as thorough as possible.

i returned it after a week. When i washed it off, it was not much of a color. NO COLOR! sorry ladies if you bought it and didn’t work for you either. So later i applied it again but again, odd color on application and almost NO color when i washed it off… Plus this rush rush because it dries so quick, hard not yo get streaks. So i am switching to a gradual tanner, lol. it dries super quick which sounds nice but also the difficulty, as you REALLY have to hurry up and apply it in circular motions to avoid streaks.
