I love this scrub! I initially bought this for my mom, who was looking for a good scrub, on a whim at Sephora after being drawn to the cheery green packaging and trusted Ole Henriksen brand. Once she told me how much she loved it, I had to get it it for myself as I realized I was also in need of a reliable scrub.
This is not one of those liquidy scrubs, it feels like a paste coming out which at first was disconcerting but quickly became routine. It gives the perfect amount of physical exfoliation that the skin can handle and is gentle but effective. Beyond leaving my skin baby soft, it consistently reveals the most luminous glow that I can practically feel it chisel away at while breathing deeply to inhale the invigorating green tea and eucalyptus scent. It’s particularly a great scrub for AM use for that reason as it always makes me look and feel more awake. I use this 2-3x a week in place of my regular cleanser; also have really taken to using it as my face wash when sleeping away and on weekend trips because it fits in even a relatively small purse and there’s no chance of leakage – most importantly, unlike other scrubs, it’s gentle enough for short term daily use. Although the price is admittedly steep and it doesn’t look or feel like a huge bottle, I purchased it in February and I’m only just starting to approach the end now in October, which is why I waited to review. I would say $28 for a not even twice-yearly purchase is pretty justifiable for a reliable and travel-friendly scrub that delivers.

I love this scrub! Makes your skin feel so so clean! Great for when my skin is feeling gross.

i have combination, acne prone, sensitive skin. absolutely love this stuff! every other scrub would make me break out (and not purging and getting all the crap out currently in my skin. it would just create and add more more pimples to existing ones and wouldnt clear until i stopped using the scrubs) but this is my holy grail. smells like candy canes which i love! warm on the skin when exfoliating on the face but cooling after you wash it off – its so refreshing, feels squeaky clean like all of the crap in and on my face is gone! and no breakouts . more of a grit kind of exfoliator rather than beads which i normally do prefer but they are so damaging to your skin. but i feel like it helps loosen the blackheads i have in my skin so i can get them out easier.
id def give this a go no matter what your skin type

I got a good-sized sample of this scrub with a Sephora order, and I was so sad when it ran out! I really love this scrub, because it’s a perfectly happy medium of scrub+cream — a lot of scrubs are too grain-heavy (St. Ives) or too creamy, but this Henriksen one is balanced. The warming sensation upon application is soooooo nice too — it feels really luxurious and calming after a long day or a workout. It also doesn’t irritate my normal skin or break me out, woot. I’m currently using up a few other scrubs, but I will absolutely repurchase this one when I run out of those! I also plan to take it with me when traveling as well, because after I get off an airplane or finish a long road trip, nothing feels nicer on my skin than a good scrub-a-dub-dub. Retails at Sephora for $28 for a 3-oz tube with a flip-top lid.

I was surprised there were no reviews on this scrub, I guess it’s new. I bought it on a whim looking for a new scrub and it is amazing! It smells like eucalyptus and feels warm upon application. It’s a blend of AHA, volcanic sand, and anti-inflammatory neem oil. It apparently also has green tea, algae, and Irish moss. This scrub is $28 for for a good amount of product – 3 oz(imagine about the size of a Sensodyne tube)
The amount of sand for scrubbing in this is perfect. Not too harsh but harsh enough to get rid of my stubborn flakes. It definitely had been making my skin look healthier. One of my favorite scrubs I’ve ever tried.
