Seriously, one of the best face scrubs I have ever used. As an Esthetician, I have tried many scrubs but this one almost gives your skin the feel and the results of a microdermabrasion treatment. I was given a free sample of this last time I went to the Kiehls free standing store and went back the next day and bought the full size. That is one thing I really like about Khiels stores, they are always willing to give out samples to people without pressuring you to buy. Anyways, this scrub makes your skin feel so smooth for a few days after you use it. Their are alot of grits in this scrub but it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s a bit expensive but I think it’s worth it then spending $60 or more for one microdermabrasion.

I am so happy I found this scrub for my face! My skin face never looks this healthy before. My friend even says that my skin has changed better. It is brighter and moist. I used to have a dehydrated yet oily skin because I tend to use face products for oily skin. They somehow make my skin dehydrated for a long time. But this scrub can remove my dead skin without making it dry.

I got this several months ago and used reward dollars to get $20 off. I am not sure if I would have tried it otherwise since cost is so high. I do like this product and had reasonably good results from it but nothing spectacular. I use it 2-3 times a week in the shower before cleaning with face wash. No irritation or breakouts. I am now trying a chemical exfoliation product that is really working well, so I am not sure if I will buy this again.

I cannot rave about this product more. I’ve tried various scrubs over the years and the results have been middling (Hello, Mario Badescu Strawberry Scub) to bad (Avery single apricot scrub you can buy in a drugstore). I had been using a glycolic acid/scrub product from Neutrogena that was the bomb – until they discontinued it because they are horrible people (jk/not kidding). So for about 4-5 years, I’ve been searching for a new scrub that left my face feeling smooth and looking clear that didn’t cost $100+. This product is PERFECT! Seriously. I use very little and swirl it on my skin with a very light touch after I’ve cleansed ever 2-3 days (depending) I also use it on my neck and decolletage. I’m going to be 50 this year (eek!) and I keep meeting people who think I’m in my mid-30’s. Obviously, this product only added to the care I take with my skin (good, gentle, but effective products, stay out of the sun, moisturize), but I have a friend who knows my actual age and she commented just on how smooth and young my skin looks compared to hers. I can see the beginning of crows feet, but no one else can, apparently. I don’t wear a lot of make-up, but when I do I can keep it sheer and natural looking, even up close because of the smoothness this product provides. it’s pricey, but it’s so worth the cost because you use so little of it so it lasts. I actually bought it on eBay for about 1/2 price. Try it. It’s really an amazing product. Don’t forget to moisturize afterward and your skin will feel and look wonderful.

So after staring at a post 30’s tired looking, occasional acne break out dull face in the mirror for a while I decided to call into Kiehls for some sort of miracle really, wasn’t optimistic! (Been using a Ren mask products for a while but wasn’t getting great results) After chatting to a friendly shop assistant he recommended the Acne Blemish Control skin clearing treatment for the acne and he also gave me a sample of the Mirco-Dermabrasion to try for fine lines.
Honestly my skin hasn’t looked better after a week, I went back and bought the full size, quite pricey but totally worth it. I am using both products and also the Midnight Recovery oil (he gave me a sample of that too and I’ve also gone back to buy the full size!)
So basically it’s a pretty expensive trio but it’s totally working for me at the minute, highly recommend..

This scrub is my HG because it seems to moisturize a little while exfoliating, which I need. It’s kind of expensive but you mix a bit with your cleanser and a little goes a long way.

I bought this about four months ago and I was so excited to give it a try. It is out of this world AMAZING! My skin after four months is looking softer, smoother and the little lines are less noticable. It is abrasive so don’t rub too hard or it will take off more than you might want it to. I use it once a month in my dry areas only. As stated in other reviews a tiny dab is all that is needed so I would consider this a great deal for the price you pay. This is one of the products that will save you some money from going to the Dayspa to get the same thing done for quite a lot more. I would also not suggest going out in the Sun for a day or so as well. I did the day after once for thirty minutes to swim laps and even with Coppertone Sport SPF 50 I still got a slight burn. So be careful. I highly recommend as it is the best in its category to be sure!

Amazing product expensive but worth it I always feel my skin is benefiting after a single use lasts forever and only a small nickel sized dime is needed skin is left smooth supple radiant and plumped its a heavy duty scrub that does what it says and extra sun screen is needed as your skin becomes sensitive after using it as it scrubs away dead skin its a must have product and a definite staple

This is my favourite scrub. It contains tiny little scrubby things, sort of like sand, but smaller, that do a really good job of removing dead skin cells. It can be a little harsh if you scrub too hard or too long, so be very gentle. This scrub makes my skin very soft and I can tell when I’ve used it, as my skin looks great and refreshed. I use it once a week and find that it’s enough. It is rather pricey, but for me it’s worth it. You don’t need a lot of product, so the tube lasts a long time.

I have difficult to manage discolorated-sensitive-combination skin that is prone to breakouts. For a long time I’ve had tired looking skin, from sun exposure (I live in an region that gets a lot of sunlight year round) plus I smoke (which doesn’t help either).
For many years I just assumed that I’m doomed to just live with the tired looking/ discolorated/ combination skin that I had.
I generally try to follow instructions suggested and then slowly change how I use it to what works best for me.
Instructions say to use it 3 times a week. I started off with using it once a week (because the first time I used it I was blown away by how effective it was/yet it gave me redness that I wasn’t too happy with when I applied it early in the morning).
I slowly worked my way up to using it every other day now, but only during night time. I’m still not a fan of using sunblock cause I’ve yet to find one that doesn’t give my face a shine, plus being exposed to sunlight after application is never a good idea.
Instructions on how I use this product:
I use this product at night before going to bed now. After I use the Kiehls Calendula deep cleansing face wash while in the shower. I apply this product for a good 2 min paying extra attention to areas with larger pores, then rinse with cool water. I then use the face wash again.
Once I’m out of the shower I only pat dry my face. I then use the kielhs calendula toner with a cotton pad (I used to soak the cotton pad with it thinking that it would sooth my skin but eventually found out that less yields better results). Using the toner certainly helped with tightening the pores and cooling the skin as well.
After 5 min or so, I apply the Kiehls clearly corrective dark spot solution. On the days that I use the Microdermabrasion I use twice as much as I normally would (6 drops all over face in total). The way the skin soaks up the solution after the microdermabrasion is PHENOMENAL, and yield impressive results as opposed to the solution alone.
After another 5 min, I use the Kiehls ultra facial oil-free gel cream. A little goes a looong way, although after the dermabrasion I use a little more than I would on days that I don’t.
I let my face soak up the solution and gel cream for a good 45min to an hour while laying in bed (usually time spent reading a book or browsing online before bed).
Results:
I’ve been using this product for 3 months now. The first month I was using it once a week. And while I was happy with how my face felt after using it (yes the reviews are all true, you have to use it to understand) I haven’t gotten the result I was hoping for.
On the second month, I started to slowly use the product more often and changed the time of usage from morning to night, and was experimenting with how to use the other products with it to get better results.
On the third month, I have been using the method I mentioned above this for a month now. I’m not a fan of exaggeration but I literally feel like I’ve had a skin transplant (if there ever was a thing). I no longer have discoloration, my skin feels smooth, clear and fresh.
I’ve tried way too many products (and with a good disposable income, I never shied from splurging on any product to get the results I wanted). Nothing has come close to the results I got from this. Is it more expensive than others? Yes, but the results blew me away, that I stocked up with a couple of more boxes of it.
This is BY FAR the most effective product for its intended use that I have purchased.
