I love this Exfoliant! I have sensitive/combination skin and using this exofliant every 4 days has made a great difference on my skin texture. To get the best results and get really supple skin, you should definitely open up your pores (by taking shower or face steam) before using the exfoliant. It’s pricey, but I feel its worth it and should be a staple for a skincare routine!

Terrific scrub. Caused no irritation but left me with beautiful, glowing skin. HG

Returned. This broke me out every single time I used it. The rest doesn’t matter.

Sensitive skin beware! I used is as directed and my face got burned. It turned deep red and stayed deep red itchy for several hours.
Never again!

This is a great face scrub. I really love scrubs of all kinds.
This scrub warms when it comes in contact with water, which is a cute science experiment. I prefer to scrub it on dry, then add a bit of water, and scrub some more. Then I finish my shower, and then rinse it off.
The acids work, the scrubby particles work, and my face feels smooth without feeling stripped of moisture. The scrubby particles aren’t too big, so my skin doesn’t feel raw after scrubbing.
I use this once or twice a week. If my face feels sensitized, I don’t scrub, just pat some on my nose and chin, which needs more work.
It is around $54 for 2.5 ounces at Ulta and Nordstroms, so it is pretty easy to find.
It doesn’t take much to do your face, only a pea size dot, so a tube will last me well over a year.

This is my HG exfoliator. I have combination and acne prone skin (in the morning very dry, during day it becomes oily) and this product is a miracle. Really. It makes your skin smooth like nothing else. The self-warming effect isn’t strong but I don’t care, it is still the best scrub I have ever used.
P.S.: I have tested it on my hubby who has really dry skin and he loves it as well!

HG!! Pricey but worth every penny! As a Licensed Esthe I highly recommend! Please make sure you are buying from authorized Dermalogica retailers, maybe that’s why people are having reactions from FAKE products?

No animal testing! Works well on my oily, acne prone, Mediterranean skin that needs frequent exfoliation. Fine granules that pack a punch, orange aroma, good packaging (foil is easy to squeeze & good for travel). Pricey. I’ve been using this for about a year, rotating with Olay Microdermabrasion, derma E, and L’oreal Refinish (discontinued). I’ve also tried Philosophy Microdelivery Peel (the best!). My skin stops responding well to exfoliants if I use the same one too often. Dermalogica is about equal to the others in performance, but it’s just so pricey!

I like this scrub, it is very pleasant to use, but it makes my skin break out…

This is awesome stuff!!! Leaves skin feeling so smooth and refreshed. I use it on my skin dry for optimum effect. It’s a little pricey, but you don’t need to use much.
