Pros: This scrub has really nice packaging and leaves my skin feeling soft, but only right after I use it.
Cons: It’s possible that I’m jumping the gun a bit here and haven’t given this product enough time (I’ve been using it every day for a week now), but I am pretty disappointed with it at this point. The smell is very harsh and I don’t find it pleasant at all. The micro-beads are really difficult to wash off, and after all the effort of washing and scrubbing them off, my skin ends up red and irritated. I’ve also begun to break out on my chin since using this, and my skin has become extremely dried out, despite me using an intensive moisturizer. My skin is normally dry, but this just makes it so much worse.
Overall, I would not recommend for anyone with dry and/or sensitive skin. It will only make things worse for you. It might work fine for someone will normal or oily skin.

This is an okay scrub. I like scrubs that get rid of all my dead cells and that leaves my skin feeling soft, especially around the nose. This one doesn’t quite do that. It feels nice on the skin but I found that it doesn’t really do anything for me. Usually I use my scrubs once a day, because twice can irritate it but I ended up using it twice a day because i felt it was veeeery mild on the skin. Nice smell, nice packaging, but nothing special. In terms of acne help, I didn’t notice anything either, but I already use acne treatment aside from my cleansers so I can’t really measure it.
I think there are way better scrubs out there, like the Garnier ones!

I will start off by saying that this cleanser, like most of Biore’s cleanser, is very strong (soapy). A small amount goes a long way, at least for me. I also use it once every other day, and find it works well to keep my occasional blemishes at bay. I also like the little soft scrubbing/scrubby particles, as it provides just a good amount of exfoliation. Although, the particles are a bit of a pain to wash off. They like to stick to my hairline. I should add that I have normal to oily, sometime very oily along the T-zone, type of skin. I also very stable skin that doesn’t react to strongly to products. The downside to this cleanser, like the other Biore cleansers I have, is that it contains sodium laureth (or lauryl) sulfate. I am on the fence about surfactants, but perhaps this is why the Biore cleansers are so strong and soapy. I am sorry to read all the low ratings about this product, and about the horrible affect it has on the reviewers’ skin. As I said above, I use very little every other day (at night), and this works well enough for me. Perhaps, adjusting frequency and amount of use (instead of 2x daily) might work for other users. I actually received a couple of tubes from the Biore-Facebook program that Biore held a year or two back. I am just using them up (I like the fact that it has salicylic acid in it). However, I am not enamored by this cleanser, so I won’t purchase/repurchase.

I really like Biore, but I’m disappointed with this product.
It just didn’t work as well as I expected it, too. In fact, sometimes I wonder if it isn’t making my acne worse. I find myself looking in the mirror wondering if it is helping at all. It’s work to rinse it off my skin, and my skin doesn’t feel as clean as I’d like it, too. Also, the beads in it seem unnecessarily rough. Washing my face with it is almost uncomfortable.
Finally, the scent a bit weird.
But the package is lovely, and I like the way the orange wash looks.

this has to be the worst acne face wash product ever! after a couple of uses of this product my skin became so irradiated. immediately threw this garbage away. fyi when searching for facial wash for acne prone/oily skin please look at the ingredients. i notice this product has fragrance as well as mentol in it which is not good…..a lesson well spent

Ok well before I used St ives apricot scrub and wanted to try something new so I bought this biore and the second time I tried it I broke out on my forehead!! This has never ever happened to me, I dont have sensitive skin, I have T zone face. A whole bunch of little pimples just were on my forehead very itchy too. I also realized that their products were not sold there anymore…so im going back to St Ives.

When I was in grade 8, my face and was literally covered from chin to hairline in pimples, everybody would agree i was the definition of a “pizza face”. With such an extreme case of problem skin, I consulted my doctor about it, I got a cream to clear it up. Since then, the cream is long gone but i have had radiant skin; with the occasional pimple here and there. This has been so for five years now. Last week on August 3rd 2014, I made one of the worst mistakes of my life regarding skin care; I bought this product. I was shopping for camping supplies and since I normally only use noxema pads, I thought I should be safe and purchase a facial cleanser to clear up the single pimple I had as I was leaving in two days. I am still regretting the fact that I choose this product over aveeno, st ives or even loreal. I used it once the morning of the 4th and again at night, my face fealt smooth after each use. Sinse we were leaving for camping on the 5th i did not use it at all that day. I woke up on the 6th, my face fealt slightly itchy around the jaw. Throughout the day, I fealt my face and noticed that a few tiny unnoticable bumps were developing. I thought I may have to do with the camping, perhaps the tent or water had irritated my skin or something but I knew that was unlikely as it had never happened before. When we arrived at p campsite I immediately washed my face with the scrub, again my skin fealt soft but I could still feel the bumps. The next morning, I woke up and I literally started crying when I looked in the mirror. My face looked as if I was back in grade 8, covered in HUGE RED PIMPLES, from hairline to chin. My face was burning and it hurt like heck, and looked absolutely revolting, covered in so many lumps that makeup would make it look like lumpy sand paper or something along those lines. I have NEVER EVER EVER expeeianced such. Terrible disgusting

I don’t understand why this product has so many bad reviews. It’s honestly the best drugstore acne product I’ve found. So to get started, I have moderate acne. I recently switched to this scrub and I didn’t expect such great results overnight. When you apply it it’s very refreshing and tingly and gives you a very clean feeling. Also the smell is very fruity and bearable. Anyways, the next morning I woke up suprised. My skin was not only 90% noticeably clearer but my skin was very smooth and polished. Couldn’t believe it. I use this product morning and night. Unbeatable!

LONG REVIEW BUT WORTH TO READ: So I bought this scrub the other day and I looked at the reviews afterwards and found that a lot of people didn’t like this product. As you can see in the comments below, it has irritated some people’s skin which i’m not sure why because I have sensitive/dry skin and this didn’t do anything to me. First let me say it is very rare that you find an acne prone product that doesn’t make your skin dry. As per example, Proactiv which has a history of working very well, dry’s out your skin but if i’m not mistaking all acne prone skin products have a certain ingredient that is effective and works to get rid of your acne but it also makes your skin dry so it’s highly important that when it comes to these types of products, you need to use a good moisturizer afterwards (I use Nivea overnight repair). To add to this, I also use Michael Todd Skin Defender and it also drys out my skin, I’m still trying to figure out if I like this product as it made my skin breakout. I can’t say i’m full of acne but I do have breakouts here and there, more like hives kind of pimples as I have sensitive skin. I used Biore Acne Scrub yesterday and I must say that I LOVE IT. I love it because I really felt like it cleansed my skin and the after feeling was amazing! You get this mild sting and fresh feeling which I never had with any product and I must say when I woke up this morning, my breakouts were practically gone (it’s still there but it’s improved by a lot). I don’t feel like this is something to use everyday but i’m going to switch between this product and my Michael Todd cleanser. I also used the Biore Acne Scrub with a facial cleansing brush which I bought from Quo for 7$ CDN. I bought this scrub on special for 6.99CDN which to me was worth every penny. Again, the after feeling is what I like the most and of course the quick results. Hope this helps!

I first used this product at night and by morning I had a horrible itching sensation on my chin and even though I never touched or itches it the itching spread to my hole face. By the next morning 90% of my face was covered in itchy red pusstules. I had to pay 75$ to go to the dermatologist and then had to get prescriptions for inti-inflammatory and steroids. I had to take off a hole week of school because of the horrific painful rash. It has now been a week and my face is still covered. Even though some people have seen positive results from this product DO NOT risk it! Just read the ingredients and you will find so many harsh unnesesay chemicals. This had been the worst experience of my life! Do not buy it!
