Had high hopes for this one, but it didn’t make foundation last on oily, blemish prone parts of my face at all. The consistency is very thick, and is easy to apply, so it really seemed like it was going to create a solid canvas for foundation. After about an or two out of the house though, the foundation I applied on top of it had started to melt and slide.

I’m a big fan of Marc’s coconut range. Their hydrating primer & Velvet Lash primer are my all time favorites and I use them almost every day.
This primer is another great product from the range. It took me a while to try it out, but once I did (I got a sample first), I went to Sephora and bought the full size.
My skin: combo, large pores around my nose. I prefer satin-matte finish face makeup.
What I love:
– you need only the tiniest amount. Like, pea sized amount. Which means the product will last you for a long time.
– it works, plain and simple. Makes my skin super smooth, gives me a lovely canvas, fills in pores without clogging them- it doesn’t make me break out, a huge plus.
– it is not “dry”, like many pore filling primers- on the contrary, it has a tacky/satin finish that is not too sticky and makes the foundation adhere beautifully.
– now, the biggest test: my foundation ALWAYS creased under my eyeglasses. When I applied this primer, it didn’t!
