Another home run from ELF! They have so many primers on their website that I believe they do not do a restock on the Putty Primer, which owns all of the hype, that you purchase and try the others. I’m glad because I discovered another Primer I’m Obsessed with. Packaging is Professional looking with a Pump. Product comes out Purple but applies Clear. It is very oily in texture which I find this a good thing because it Soaks into the pores and fine lines. After Applying my ELF Foundation, I Toned down the oiliness with a Translucent Powder and I had a Porcelain Smooth Face. ELF is Lightyears away from the Product they once were and now up there with Professional Make-up you can easily work with. I am Super Impressed with the quality of this Brand and will Continue to Repurchase and can’t wait for what they come out with next! A+++ CLAP CLAP!

Did nothing for my skin except give it an unpleasant silicone feel, which in turn made it feel like my skin couldn’t ‘breathe’ properly. It also didn’t do anything to help with the tone of my skin and after continued use (every day for a week) I noticed my skin felt and looked much greasier and I was developing small breakouts along my jawline. At that point I stopped using it and as a result wouldn’t recommend it, especially for anyone who has oily skin or is prone to breakouts after using silicone-based products.
One final point to note – the packaging is deceptive and not in a good way. From the outside – and going by the picture on the E.L.F. website – it makes it look like the whole bottle is filled with product. However, on receiving this I noticed that the bottle actually has an outer layer to it, with another section inside of that containing the product. So in actuality you don’t get nearly half as much as E.L.F. would like you to believe.

I’ve been using this product for the past couple of weeks, after switching from Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. So far, it works just as well, if not better, and at less then half the price. The packaging is very pretty and modern in a nice glass bottle. I don’t know if it is just in my head, but I really do believe that the lavender color evens out and brightens my skin tone. Will buy again.
