The packaging is super cute, but this is super wack! It’s really sticky, smells weird, and did nothing to my face, nothing at all.

I love the tube this product comes in. I do not like the product. It seemed sticky and did not help my foundation. Would not repurchase.

I don’t really use this often but when I do I get this striking look towards my face . As the name says it’s sheer . It’s really good and it will surely let your makeup stay for up stay flawless up to about 5 hours .

This stuff is great! I’ve been using it and i love it so far. its like creamy and thick at the same time and it rubs on dry. it moisturized my skin so well and covered my pores. color correcting wise, its alright. it covered everything and and evened out everything really well. im definetly repurchasing! it mattified any foundation i used which i loved and it is not oily at all. not tometion, it left my skin baby soft. not like any other primer, this one is one of a kind

Brand spankin’ new to applying any makeup other than Mascara, Lip Liner and Lip Stick. I bought this Primer because Pinterest and Youtube advised full face require Primer!! This primer specifically, because I was on a strict budget that day and it was in my price range (Walmart 8$). I have no other Primer to compare this too, but I did notice a difference in applying makeup without it. It definitely covered up the red/irritated spots on my face. I was also able to apply an even layer of Studio Fix Liquid Foundation by MAC, better with the primer, than without.

I really didn’t know what to expect when I purchased this primer; I was hoping I would be pleasantly surprised and love it, but it doesn’t wow me whatsoever.
First off, it applies weird. It’s thick and creamy, and though it eventually blends when I rub it into my face, it tends to ‘ball’ up. I bought it because it’s a “color corrector” and I tend to have redness. Unfortunately, this doesn’t eliminate the redness. The price is decent (I think I paid $10 or less).
It’s not a bad product, I just think I expected more. Sometimes products like this are a hit or miss. For me, this is a miss. I will not be re-purchasing, but I do believe it will wow someone out there.

My friend told me to try this stuff to try and help how red my skin can get and I had high hopes and I loved it for the first few weeks, it evened out all of my redness and for the most part besides some oily spots throughout the day it kept my makeup looking fresh, but at the same time, I noticed I started breaking out worse than I had ever before, not just a few pimples here and there, I mean all over my face and starting down my neck. The acne I have now is called cosmetic acne. Throughout high school I had always had some acne but never this bad. At first I thought it was what I used to wash my face so I switched to something more gentle, still nothing. And then I stumbled upon a site that told you what ingredients in your makeup to always stay away from, so I read all the labels to my makeup products and the only one that had one on the list was this primer. It has an ingredient in it called isopropyl myristate which clogs your pores REALLY bad, I do not suggest this product at all!! Do NOT buy!!

I was blown away by the Hard Candy primers in general — I had tremendous success with the Shine Free Primer (and i have difficult skin, rosacea, large pores, etc), so I had very high expectations of the Color Corrector.
HOWEVER, there must have been something wrong with this batch – because it came out pasty (texture not at all like the other primers) and I couldn’t spread even a tiny amount without immediately pilling and glopping up in chalky bits. I even tried it multiple times/areas.
Total waste of 10 bucks.

I was looking for a green product to do some color correcting, and couldn’t find any green concealer, so I settled for the green, hard candy primer because I know the brand has a good reputation. It didn’t help at all. I didn’t notice any difference. Did it moisturize my face? Sure, but I bought the color correcting primer to help with redness and it didn’t.

Apparently Hard Candy is like a pro at producing primers I have used another one from them and was obsessed with it. It’s so reasonably priced. I really love this one I get redness on my cheeks and you can’t even tell after I apply my makeup. Absolutely will re purchase this product!
