This is the first primer I have used.I have oily skin and some pores around the nose and as for the pore minimizing part, it does nothing for me. However it works well as a strobing cream if you mix it with your foundation but I think there are better options for that since it also has some chunks of glitter in it.

this primer is a match made in heaven for my matte foundations!
normally matte foundations are hard for me in a sense that by the middle/end of the day, I have cracks and dullness, and my skin just doesn’t have the pretty vibrancy that I have when I first apply it. This primer really balances that out for me so that it gives me a nice glowy, hydrated base that I can still subtly see even after I apply my matte foundations/bronzer/blush/contour. It keeps my makeup from getting that dull matte-ive-been-working-all-day face. My skin will be set off by anything between top shelf brands or drugstore (it does not discriminate), but this hasn’t affected my skin in any negative way honestly. A great one to try out for those who don’t fancy silicone feeling primers, since this one is a nice, creamy and delicately shimmery primer. Haven’t really seen anything change as far as “pore minimizing” goes, but that was the least of my concerns. Would definitely purchase again for my matte foundation days.

I’m new to using primers. I got this because I liked the Cover FX illuminating primer but didn’t want to spend $40 on it. This one is even better and a quarter of the price. I love the subtle glow it gives my skin, and my makeup wears very well on top. I still use blurring primer on my large pores, after I use this all over. The glow is subtle but natural. It gives my skin life. I don’t like being super-matte because I find it makes me look flat and dimension-less. This primer totally gives my skin brightness and dimension.

I have dehydrated skin. It takes a lot for my skin to break out. This has not cause me any issues (a YMMV thing).
I applied this as a primer prior to foundation and powder. My skin was flawless and glowy all day. I don’t feel as if it blurs pores as well as something like Porefessional does
I do like how my makeup stayed in place all day. My foundation did not slide off (which happens with some primers. In face my foundation barely faded and my skin did not over produce oil. In fact I was barely oily. My makeup did not cake over this primer either.
I really like this in combination with the new CG Elixir foundation and Milani prep & prime powder. I looked like a matte, glowy goddess.

Sadly, this product broke me out. Almost /nothing/ breaks me out, and I pile a lot of things on my skin. I have been following the same routine for months now, and this was the only new addition. I haven’t had so many pimples in years, it really makes me wonder what is in it to cause it. Of course it can just be my skin, I am sure it can work for others.
As far as performance goes, I don’t feel that it helped my foundation go on particularly smoothly, or made it last any longer than usual. The strobing effect is very pretty, nothing too outrageous, although it gets covered once you apply foundation and powder. I think it was pretty over my foundation, but I prefer to use a powder highlight with more impact.
