This review is for the orange primer aimed at medium to dark skin tones. For context I am in the shade 177 or cognac in makeup forever and shade 355 coconut in maybelline fit me foundation.
Im no makeup guru so i picked thia us at walmart because it was cheap. About 8.17 total. I bought this to help with some hyper pigmentation and dark spots on my face to wear under my foundation. I shook the bottle a bit as directed by the instructions on the cap and applied it to my face after my primer.
The good: goes on lightly with a non heavy or greasy feeling. Cheap as it only cost me under 10$ for 0.85 oz or 25 ml. No strong smell either but it does have a scent to it so I wouldnt call it unscented. It also comes out very easy since its packaged in a upside down squeeze bottle with a very narrow tip so too much doesn’t come out at once.
The bad: it goes on WAY too sheer to be effective. My skin is considered medium deep/deep depending on the company producing the makeup but its not impossible to find a shade + undertone to match me. It looks like a cream based gel almost upon squeezing it out. Has a medium orange color. But when you rub it in (i use my clean fingers to apply) or blend it out it fades to quickly to actually blurr or hide any darkness. My dark spots are not that bad and neither is the hyper pigmentation and this stuff covered nothing unless it put on quiet a bit. Its just not pigmented enough to work for me and I doubt anyone else who is even close to my shade.
I wouldn’t repurchase this stuff unless they changed the formula and gave the orange one more pigment to actually cover anything.

I’ve been using Prime Correct in GREEN for about a week now. I think I paid USD$8-$9 for it at Walmart. Well… first it gave me red pimples (I was able to make them go away quickly using mandelic acid from MUAC) and then it started giving me white heads. It’s the only new thing in my routine and the new spots have been popping up each day, so I’m guessing it’s this. I will not buy this one again, but I may try the peach one instead (as the previous reviewer said, it doesn’t have bismuth like this one does)… that’s why I said I would buy it again.
On the bright side (if bismuth is not a problem for you – and I’m not sure that’s the problem for me here), this does work as a silicone primer should. It fills/blurs pores so your makeup looks great on top. I’ve only been using powder (MAC MSFN), so I’m not sure about liquids.
On the other hand, I don’t find this pigmented enough to hide very much redness, so I went back to using my true green color corrector (Hard-Candy Sheer Envy Color Correct Cushion Wonder). However, when I put on the primer and then the corrector, it did not smooth out like I’m used to. It just broke up into little green specks rather than being absorbed into the skin (therefore, did not cover as much redness). So, I started putting on the green corrector first, then this primer, and that worked better. However, spots… argh. I’m wearing it like this on my nose today, despite the 2 white heads I got overnight, because I like how it fills my pores, but I may try to return/exchange this. I hate doing returns.

update: I am now using this primer with Milani’s creme to power foundation in Buff which is perfect for NC 15 gals. the two work together fabulously and makeup lasts all day! LOVE LOVE. This review is for the Milani Prime Correct primer in the tube with the Peachy colored stripe on the front. NOT THE GREEN ONE, which I would never try because the green one has bismuth in it…(wil lgive you systic acne).. So on to my review of the one with the peach stripe on the front! IT”S WONDERFUL! I have never had luck with primers….ever…they either make my skin oily or dry and never really do much to help makeup last, so I just gave up, until Milani sent me a sample with my order (which arrives consistently from the company in three days!!) SO I LOVE THIS PRIMER!! It Says it “Diffuses discoloration and pore minimizing” and I agree with both! I am NC 15 and like the shade Light to medium. I got a sample of the medium to dark (?) i think and it worked okay too!! Both have peachy undertones and when you rub it in, you dont really think it’s going to do much….but it really does diffuse discoloration and I REALLY can notice a difference with it !!! I use Milani’s liquid foundation over this and just love it….This primer does seem to minimize my pores on my cheeks as well! I can tell you for sure that my foundation just sits better all day when using this primer..than with the foundation alone…..I will use this every day. Doesn’t break me out….and doesnt make me greasy….LOVE LOVE…But again….if you are sensitive at all….you really should avoid the green one that has very similar packaging except it’s black with some green on the front. If you look up that ingredient, you will immediately see exactly why it causes cystic pimples!!! But this gem…the one in the black tube with peach color on the front does not have it!!!! I’m new to Milani, but am loving all of their products….No blush is better than theirs for pigment and long wearing! Hope this helps
