The spray is fairly tacky when applied. Even after drying a bit of tackiness remains. The smell is fine.
it makes the makeup look less powdery, less flat. However that’s about it. It doesn’t do much for oil control sadly.
For the price I am not mad but I am not repurchasing it.

The packaging on this product is pretty great for $8, the mist is super fine and even, the sprayer is not choppy at all, and it overall feels like very good quality. Unfortunately, that’s the only good thing about it. I bought this to see if I could find a good mattifying setting spray that was alcohol-free. I have oily skin and it did nothing at all to control my oil during the day, whether I used it underneath my foundation, after all my base products were applied, or both. In fact, I think it actually made my oils worse since it just added an extra layer on my skin. I also felt like my face got tighter (in a bad way) if I used it, almost like a slight burning sensation. The smell is a bit unpleasant and chemical-y. It’s not totally unbearable, but like I saw in another review of this spray, it really does just smell like glue. You only get 1.69 fl oz for $8, and it seems like every spray disperses a ton of product, so it’s not really a good value if you think about it, since you’d be running through it pretty quickly. You’d be better off just getting the Urban Decay All-Nighter (if you don’t mind the alcohol, it’s actually great for oily skin), since it would definitely last a lot longer (justifying the price), and it would actually do its job well. I wish I could take the nozzle off so I could reuse the bottle, but alas, that’s yet another con, there’s no way to take it off as far as I could tell. I can usually find a way to repurpose a product if I don’t love it for its intended purpose, but this one was so bad I just had to spray it until it was done and then recycle the packaging! Do not buy this if you’re looking for an enjoyable makeup product lol
Edit: I found a way to reuse the packaging! I just had to pry the black spray top off with a pair of tweezers.
