I really like it, it is very brightening and significantly reduces my redness. I use it as a foundation or as a primer.

I don’t have a lot of experience with primers; the last one I used was from the body shop (Matte-It primer or something like that). I haven’t used prep + prime skin so I can’t compare with that. However this primer does:
– smooth over skin, mattify and give a slight glow
– it has caffeine which I believe helps keep skin taut (it did help with puffiness in the morning)
Things I didn’t like:
– It has a weird tingly sensation
– Too much of it gives me a whitish cast
Other than that I can firmly say it made my makeup last for about 12 hours, which never happened before!

I really love this product. It is NOT just a primer. It has a built in primer though. M.A.C. actually has a BB cream that is only available to European customers but this is the exact same thing. According to the girl at the M.A.C. store that I go to, it has all the same ingredients. I actually checked that out and it holds true.
So think of this as a BB cream and not just a primer or just a tinted moisturizer. It combined a skin treatment, SPF, and tint to cover minor flaws. This isn’t going to be full coverage. So people expecting that really just need to go with a foundation instead of sitting there wondering why this isn’t covering EVERYTHING. It simply isn’t designed to do that.
This is great for every day wear with a little concealer over problem areas. I personally like the mineralize concealer with this. A few dabs under the eyes and on any blemish, voila! Perfect base. If you want to bump this up, try the mineralize natural skin finish bronzer or your regular powder foundation.
All in all this is a great product. It’s pricey like all M.A.C. products but you won’t need to constantly reapply this, it’s a quality product, and as with all things M.A.C. a little goes a long way. I wouldn’t recommend using this with a foundation or dual fiber brush as it’s a bit thicker (most likely because of the SPF) so just blend it out with your fingers after dotting it on. Worth a try though. M.A.C. has a great return policy on their products as long as you keep the packaging and the original receipt. So if you don’t like it, return it. I switched to this after using the tinted moisturizer for months. This is a new favorite for the summer.

‘Adjust’ is supposed to brighten up skin and I think it does the job OK. I’ve actually used it as a foundation the last couple of weeks, is doesn’t cover everything, like a foundation – but I kinda like it, it looks natural. As a primer – I think it’s a good one, but too exspensive! And I have doubts about making a repurchase, mainly because of the price. But i might try one of the other shades.

I love this primer. I am NW15, and so am fair with some redness and scarring. This primer has an spf of 35! so no additional sunscreen needed, yay : ) This is easy to over apply, which will make your face a little greasy later in the day. However, it blends right into your skin if you find out the right level for your skin dryness, and the light pink tint definitely neutralizes redness and evens my skin tone. It is like a primer, spf, and tinted moisturizer in 1. LOVE. This product has saved me so much time, and covers my redness and makes my skin glow, and lets me wear significantly less makeup and so I end up looking more beautiful and more natural… I cannot rave about this primer enough. The only way this primer could even be better than it already is, is if it had a slightly more mattefying effect at the end of the day. I wouldn’t recommend this to someone with very oily skin. But duh, very oily skin shouldn’t be wearing this kind of primer lol.
**UPDATE** OMG this is my life saver! I LOVE, L-O-V-E this product. Just bought my second bottle after wearing it EVERY DAY since I bought it in August (lasted me 4 months not bad!). I think this will work best for PPP, and my two MAC SAs who are in the N10-20 range both swear by this too. To address the negative review in the top, it does have a creamy thick texture which would be difficult for a brush. I use a Beauty Blender and it goes on like a dream. I only use a squirt about the length of a centimeter, and less is more with this product. I do have combination skin, so this will make my skin more oily if I do not use another primer in addition to this product, and if I use too much. Right now, I am liking Hard Candy’s primer or LORAC Aquaprime for when I will be sweating. I blend the Prep and Prime over top after letting the other primer sink in for a minute, and voila! Even, bright, glowing skin. Honestly, this has taken the place of a tinted moisturizer for me. I only need to spot concealer after. This makes my pale skin look alive, radiant, and fresh. I recommend it to any PPP as part of their makeup routine, and I think even if you have really oily skin, if you find the right co-primer, this could work for you.
EDIT: 12/2012: I no longer use this, as I found it was too greasy for my T-zone over time. Also, the color match is no longer “perfect” as it’s a bit too peach for me now. And the coverage is not buildable, so I have to add concealer over top or underneath, but the formula of this product makes the concealer wear off very easily. I want my “no-makeup” look to be less high maintenance than this.

I LOVE this primer. I have used all of MAC’s other primers which are very good, but I had to try this one. I loved the colour in it and to be honest, I felt I was getting some good coverage out of it, like the tinted moisturizer. I definitely recommend this primer and type.

This is a frustrating product for me. I have had this about a week and I am so on the fence with this one – I put that I would buy it again as I love the SPF and the glow and I am still trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong.
First, Adjust is a light peach – almost looks a bit pink when I squeeze it onto my fingers. It very smooth and creamy. My first try I put way too much on and my face looked ghosty and greasy. I started over with a tiny amount and spread it evenly – or tried to. It just doesn’t blend like other primers/correctors I have used before. Also I can really feel this one on my skin – other primers have a silky feel, almost slippery. This one felt like sunscreen (which makes sense). I grabbed a foundation brush and it seemed to blend much better. My skin instantly looked brighter – maybe slightly lighter (I am NW30). I waited a bit then applied powder foundation. Within 30 minutes my T-Zone was a greasy nightmare. Okay. Tried it with liquid foundation – better but it didn’t react well with my MUFE F&B. It was hard to spread and blend. Once I DID it looked great. It took time but I liked the result. But spending a half hour blending when I have a busy schedule and a preschooler is just not ideal.
I love the SPF, the general glow, brightening, the way it multi-tasks (who wouldn’t?). But I found it to be slightly greasy, expensive, a pain to work with. Sooooo I have no clue if I will buy this one again. Maybe this would be more of a fall/winter product. Or maybe this is good for days with just some concealer and finishing powder. I will keep working with it and update when I finally figure it out! UPDATE: Exchanged this for a couple blushes. I couldn’t get it to work at all ~~ sticking with my usual primers. It’s a great idea though!
