I applied this and it did blur my pores, but I could see them clear as day on the middle of my forehead. The consistency of this primer is great, smooth – not too greasy – and not like other pore filling primers that are thick (Becca). I didn’t notice a smell, either. I only purchased the mini size, which was still expensive.
First day wearing – I have inflamation forming around my nose area (both sides by my nose on my cheeks) where my pores are normally the WORST. Clear as day redness forming. I also have a little redness on the middle of my forehead between my two eyebrows. The ingredients in my version are different from the ingredients listed here, so I think something has changed – but it may be the Ethylhexyl Palmitate causing some issues (cosdna). It has a 4 level for being comedogenic. Ugh.
It also did not keep me matte – I am pretty shiny/oily, and this was okay, but not for the price.
ETA- washed my face when I got home, redness and bumps all along my nose/cheeks and middle forehead. Will not use again. Also, don’t know how I missed that this is silicone-based (vs water) and after using only water-based primers, I know my skin prefers them. No more silicone primers for me. The next morning, my entire nose bridge, sides of nose and inner cheeks area are covered with red bumps, inflammation and whiteheads. ETA 7.24.2018 – my skin is still trying to recover from 8 hours of this primer on my skin. I thought it might be the palmitate that caused me issues but after doing more ingredient research (cosdna) a setting powder I’ve used for ages (years) daily has Ethylhexyl Palmitate and has never broke me out, so Im not sure that ingredient was the culprit. Unless palmitates are different in liquid vs powder forms, I cant be sure its what caused my breakout, but something in this primer did (by noon, I had bumps and redness- 4 hours). Maybe the linseed oil, Or lavender oil? Am going to test 2 other primers that are water based but include Ethylhexyl Palmitate and see what happens. Process of elimination. Ugh. Just be careful if you have acne prone, sensitive skin.

Best primer I’ve tried so far at minimizing pores.

I can’t believe how good this primer is for blurring and “disappearing” pores. I have 2 sample tubes (Points Perks or even gifts from Sephora) but only started using it this week when I noticed the pores on my nose becoming more visible when I use powder foundation. This primer basically solved the problem and I’m so pleased. I have a few (well, far too many) primers “in rotation” just now and need to use something up before buying the full size of this but I absolutely plan to purchase the full size soon (and maybe very soon, since summertime is when I really need a product like this one).

I bought this a while back, and I’ve used the while tube.
The reason I never bought it agian is the price. It costs almost 80$ in stores in Norway, so I rather splurge on Guerlain.
Pro’s: Its like Benefit pore primer only not as dry. It makses your foundation glide on and gives you a airbrushed finish.
Con’s Do not buy this in Norway. Get it online or somewhere else. It’s a good primer, but its not worth 80$.

Primer is great ! make everything what is written on the tube!
I love DR brandt cosmetics so I was not dissapointed but..I will not buy it again because the effect on my skin is intensive matt.
I like more glowy effect without visible pores thats why I have bought Dr Brandt Illuminating no more pores primer -this one is much better for my expectations.
Pore no more (gray) primes has little colour but you can not seen it on your face.
After small size of product you will receive smooth, nice matte skin without any pore!
It works great with all product I used (mineral foundatio/liquid foundation) and firts time in my life my make up is ideal from the morning till the night. it makes your foundation longwear-really.
very good for my atopic skin. I am over 40 so the lines are also less vissible!
For everyone loves matte looking skin-holy Grail
For somebody who wants all of that but little glowy effect: DR Brandt No more pores Luminizer primer would be better

This is the very best in primers. Goes on easily and smoothly! Perfect! I have been using this for years.

This is one of my desert island products, which I have used for years. I use it throughout the day on my oily T zone after blotting with papers. It is very lightweight and blurs large pores on my nose. One tube lasts a long time with daily use.

I love this stuff when I first put it on my skin, but after a while I feel like it actually dries out my skin a little bit. Nevertheless, it’s still my go to product.

I have combination skin, oily in the t-zone, with visible pores high on my cheeks and tiny visible capillaries around my nose, and I prefer to cover these up without looking like I’m wearing a mask. Whatever I use has to have some staying power-I live in a climate that can get very humid in the summertime, and I don’t want to have to worry about touching up ten times a day. I don’t do a full face of foundation-I just blend it for medium coverage over the worst spots, and I use this product as a primer underneath. It is slightly tinted, though not enough to use by itself if you are looking to cover anything up. The texture is not too thick, but not runny either, and a very little goes a long way. Does not feel heavy, and my skin still feels like it can “breathe” even through a layer of this, with foundation on top. It temporarily blurs the big pores on my upper cheeks (though not for long), and keeps my nose from getting too shiny. It also does a great job of helping the foundation I apply to stay put, even in the humid summer months! I do have to refresh my makeup, but not more than once or twice a day, and of course after exercise, if I don’t take it off first. It serves my purpose very well, and I will probably still continue to buy it-though it is not the best primer I have ever tried before, it’s the best one I can find right now-worked better for me than “The Pore-fessional”. Comes in tubes, in two sizes-the bigger is around $45, the smaller, which I think is around 1 ounce or so, is about $22-ish. Reasonably priced, for me, as I don’t use much at one time-the smallest size will last me for months.
