I like Mally but this product is FILLED with silicones. My skin exploded in terrible bumps and it took a long time for them to heal. I would recommend to try just a tiny bit on your jaw first and wait 24-48 hours to see if you experience any breakouts.

I actually love this product….I’m 47, combo skin, with some minor smile lines. This product for me, completely vanishes the faint smile lines that I am starting to get that go from nose to mouth, and makes your face truly look poreless, not matte and flat because I only wear luminous products. The BB creams/foundations I wear are never smudged with this product, you literally just lightly tap tap tap it on your face, do but rub it or press hard, its an amazing product..I dab it on once I’m completely done with my face, on smile lines, between my eyebrows, a bit on my forehead, and on my nose, then spray with rosewater, and my face looks poreless and perfect all day…sometimes I touch up with this if needed, but never more than once. I bought this in a box of “Mallys must haves” and it came with a retractable bronze stick shadow crayon, Mally voluminous mascara, and a pretty lip gloss for $39 @Ulta..I will definitely repurchase this individually when I run out.

First I have to say that out off the different companies who have made a product like this ( dior, avon, benefit and covergirl that I know of) Mally def makes the best hands down. Mallys is alot more solid then any of the others (I actually never got to try diors before it got discontinued) The others are nothing more then a silicone primer that might be good PRE makeup but Mallys is the only one I personally could wear OVER my makeup. Now the thing is if u applied to often it would end up doing what the others would which is make your makeup slide around on ure face. Im dont have very oily skin and Ive just recently even started setting foundation with powder so someone who set there foundation with a powder or just wore a powder foundation might have better luck only….this is marketed as a product that u wear instead of powder. Thats mallys big thing she hates powder so…. I did find even though I didnt wear it everyday and Im not super oily I went through it fast. I had the solid pink one and even though it is a thick packaging what bothered me was that the huge puff that comes with that one doesnt fit inside the compact which meant I really couldnt take it with me which is what most people will want to do with this product. Ive seen other people say the travel ones sponge is thin and sucks but idk. I also found that the sponge didnt clean very well. No matter what it still looked dirty. If this was cheaper I would def buy again but I wouldnt pay 50$ for it again.

This product did a fair job of creating a smooth canvas for my makeup. While it did not erase pores, it did help my makeup go on more evenly, to create the look of smoother skin. After and intense summer, I can say that this product has absolutely no effect on sweating and in fact, it is quite possible to sweat through the product. This has a mattifying effect, which is great if you tend to get oily throughout the day. I definitely noticed that my foundation makeup lasted longer with this product. This product is composed of silica and a variety of silicones, and although I tend towards natural/organic products, I find this product to be useful when used in conjunction with bases. The sponge really is not that helpful in applying this product, I just use a fluffy brush instead. Also, the packaging is unnecessarily bulky. I would repurchase this product because the performance is good.

I agree with other reviewers on many points. I use NYX HD powder to set concealer and or foundation but past the 20’s, any powder isn’t that kind to the appearance of skin.
Cons: This Mally product does remove my concealer and foundation or make it curdle after an hour or two and means I need to do my face again. However on makeup free skin it gives my skin a lovely look, like the skin of a child, luminous, naturally pretty, all oiliness from moisturiser gone.
Pros: if one has a place on one’s face that one wants to downplay, I have puffy eyes on occasion and incipient bags, this produc is wonderful. I pat it on under my eyes and the bags seem to disappear, no shine on the skin to show the form of the bags. They appear flattened. I don’t use any makeup under my eyes so I can use this product without the usual infuriating curdle effect. Am happily using this product for under my eyes only and any portions of my face where shine isn’t flattering but no makeup is needed. Would I buy this again, yes but only if I can’t find a better product and for me it’s worth it for under the eyes.
Suggestions: perfect for young girls with oily skin who don’t need foundation or concealer but would like shine removed whilst looking pearly skinned and natural.

NOT a fan. I too have heard one of my fav’s you tube beauty experts – emily noelle rave about this – I love her reviews and she is usually dead on (and she is so gorgeous….) but this is NOT for me. It was sticky and made my pores look HUGE. It broke apart and got “crumbly” on my face after a few hours. I tried to use it as a “touch up” after make up and that was worse. I am bummed I am out $40+ bucks – the only + side is I bought it in a “kit” with some other products including mascara, eyeliner and a lip gloss which are ok.

This is a silicone gel pressed into the compact, and is supposed to help minimize the look of pores and fine lines, and protect makeup from morning till night.
I really wanted to try this product, because Emily (emilynoel83) is always raving about it. I got it from QVC, along with some other Mally products. I have tried it several times, and I am really disappointed. I have combination skin, and I wanted this to help control oil, keep the foundation matte, and minimize pores. Well, the product did NONE of that.
This product accentuates every pore, fine line, and dry/flaky spot you may have. When you first apply it, the makeup actually looks really good, but after about 2 hours or so, the problems start – this product actually breaks up the foundation and makes it look splotchy; it also settles into pores and fine lines. I have applied it exactly how Mally suggests – dabbing it on gently with the sponge that is provided. The amount of product also makes no difference – I have tried using a little and a lot.
Overall, not really worth the price of $40. For people with normal skin, it might work. It breaks up the makeup on oily skin, and it sticks to flaky spots on dry skin.

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this product. This stuff does everything the Porefessional doesn’t: it hides pores, isn’t greasy, and actually keeps your skin matte. FYI I have ridiculously oily skin… I’m talking oily after two hours. This stuff definitely buys my makeup some time throughout the day, and makes my makeup look totally flawless.
I bought this in the Mally package sold at Ulta, but will definitely buy the full sized version when I run out.

My first review pls be kind… I have oily skin and sweat a lot but this product keeps everything in place!

I’ve tried setting powders and blotting tissues to minimize the shine and oily look I get on my forehead and around the nose with no success until I got this product to try. Can I just say how much I recommend it to anyone that has the same problem as I do with shine. The product goes on clear, it’s easy to apply and it really controls the shine like no other! The only negative it the package it’s very bulky and also the sponge that comes with so it, I do believe it now comes in a traveling compact but for its price might as well splurge on the regular one! love this product
