I love the airbrushed look you get with this makeup! I have an oily T-Zone and have found the full coverage last for about 6-8 hours. I feel like people might not be using the proper brush to apply this makeup. The brush is key to getting the flawless airbrushed look. I use both the concealer and the foundation and love how it makes my skin look! It’s amazing foundation that has an spf as well as anti aging properties…really great for my skin!!

You know, I really wanted to like this foundation, but sadly that just wasn’t the case.
I found the coverage to be virtually non-existent and simply could not achieve the “airbrushed” look the product the advertised/ claimed. Additionally, what minor amount of coverage I was able to achieve went away within an hour or so.
I didn’t, however, trash the product and will occasionally pull it out on days I’m either not leaving the house or don’t have the desire to use my pricier foundation. This might work for someone that already has perfect skin which requires little to no coverage, but it definitely didn’t work for my oily skin.

Skin type: extremely oily with some surface, not deep, ice pick scaring from acne , 26 years old
Pros: flawless finish every time, hides imperfections easily and can be light – medium or full coverage
Cons: container is hard to work with
I’m a makeup artist so I want my skin to always look as perfect as possible, trying foundations from too face to tarte to ysl but nothing was giving my skin a natural but coverage where I needed it to hide my acne scars. I found this and it’s the HOLY GRAIL! this foundation is amazing, when I first got it, it comes in a small round container and is a whipped foundation like at the drug store and I thought oh brother, but when I tried it on it was like magic- hid imperfections without looking heavy, helps with texture issues, controls oil, flattens out dryness, covers reddness, lasts all day and always has a flawless finish! I’m extremely impressed with this makeup the only con is the packaging but this is A + 5 star from me!!! I’m a frequent Skinn costumer now!

I will start out with the cons of this foundation, then the pros. this foundation has not covered redness, old acne spots, or minimizes wrinkles. I applied a skin primer underneath this and applied according to the directions and tried to build up concealer and foundation to no avail, sheer coverage at best. At age of twenty-nine, it made few wrinkles on forehead look like the grand canyon! So, does not suspend across the wrinkles or crow’s feet, but sinks into them. On the upside does minimize pores and control oil on my very oily t-zone. If, you want a very natural look, that looks a little better then your skin, you might like this. Otherwise, if you have a few issues like me, then it won’t be a holy grail foundation for you I assure you. This currently retails for $65.00 for the trio at shophq.com. Ladies you can get a lancome, clinique, elizabeth arden, or estee lauder foundations for under $50.00 that provide better results! I overall will not buy this again, unless it’s on sale!!

I use this foundation during the winter as my combination skin becomes a bit dry..I also use his entire skin care line (along with many of Isomer’s anti-aging product’s) and love EVERY thing..It goes on flawlessly, no use for adding powder’s to finish off, does not settle into fine lines, and makes my skin feel like velvet..The only reason I did not give it 5 star’s is because I ordered the “Light” from ShopHQ and one color says “Lght” while the other is “Cool Buff”..The “Light” is TOO light for me .. I really like the “Cool Buff” color in it and a little goes a long way..You can really get some great purchases when you get 4 products for $52.50 with flex payment’s considering on the skinn.com site one of the Plasma foundation’s is $28.00 and on ShopHQ I received the concealer, the “Cannot live without” brush for application, and 2 foundation’s for $52.50..It’s worth EVERY cent I paid for it..You might play around with it to see what works for you at first though..It’s my HG foundation & I think next time, I’ll just go to his site to purchase the “Cool Buff” and Medium because I also ordered the “Medium” from ShopHQ and one color was “Medium” and the color was great but the other color is a “Honey” which was TOO dark for me

Really bummed out that this foundation didn’t work for me. I have super oily skin and while it goes on lovely, within the hour (even after different setting powders) I look like a patchy and oily mess.
Not good for those of us who have oily skin 🙁

I have spent a lot of money looking for foundations that have coverage but don’t look thick and I am highly impressed with this one. I have very dry mature skin and this foundation does float over the lines and pores like advertised. The trick with applying this is to use his brush and do it in light strokes. I think it is fabulous if applied correctly.

The product comes in a round screw compact with a sponge in the bottom for application. It should be pressed on and takes away all pores and shine. This is great to use in the summer or any where your skin will sweat. But is great to carry in your purse for mid-day touch ups. It appears a solid light white color but adds nothing of any color to your face just takes away all pores and shine. Gives you a flawless finish. Would say buy it ..you won’t be sorry.

Okay, I have continued to use the plasma foundation..summer, fall, winter and spring. I love it. Have used so many different foundations and would be lost without it. It floats over the skin, does not settle into lines , goes on smoothly. It is affordable.

The reason I won’t purchase “Skinn Cosmetics 3PC Plasma Foundation Collection” is the Deep shade. Its flat brown. When applied, there’s an ashy look. Maybe it has too much yellow in it.
I have red undertones and this looks un-natural on me.

I believe Smashbox & Mally Beauty have the same type of product, its not a primer but it doesn’t suit in anyother categories either. Instead of using powder to cut down the shine during the day, you just use the supplied sponge to pick up on this white waxy cake (much like a powder compact) & pressed on the shiny area. I only used this on my T zone, & upon application, it does work, without the look of dry matte powdery finish, but alas, an hour later, and I was just sitting around, this stuff turned into cake batter on the face !!! Imagine how it looks like if I sweat during the summer months.
Upon checking out the back, the 3rd or 4th ingredient is wax, and as I remember, there seems to have another synthetic wax as well. No thanks. It was returned, btw, the desciption “plasma” is just a gimmick, much like HD or blu-ray.
