I’m a high end girl. My MUA kit has nothing but the best products. My personal makeup is nothing but the best. I usually don’t buy cheap drugstore products. But I figured I’d give this a go. I have used it every day for almost 2 weeks now. This has got to be the worst setting product I have ever used. It doesn’t set makeup. At all. Its definitely not for oily skin. The one good thing about it is the cute packaging. The pump sticks after every pump. It’s not a mist. It comes out full force. I should’ve known better.

Well… Perks are that it doesn’t break me out. To keep in mind, my skin is dehydrated/dry and this didn’t make me anymore matte than it would likely make anyone else with oily skin, so take that for what you will. I would only reuse because MAC FIX+ breaks me out like a teenager.

Doesn’t make one lick of difference for me. I’m oily and it does nothing to control oil, and it doesn’t make my makeup last any longer. Don’t waste your money.

I used the original setting spray forever and it was my holy grail. I switched to this one, because I’m super oily and the last think I need is a “natural” finish. Natural on me would turn into grease. 😛
Anyway, it’s fine. The original formula was far superior though. The sprayer can be super difficult at times, especially when you’re getting close to the end of the bottle. Quite often, I’ll get large droplets on my face that I have to pat away.
I don’t think it makes my face any more matte after I spray it, but it helps keep my makeup on and increases longevity. The only sign of it being matte, is the fact that it leaves some kind of film in my hair, almost like a dry shampoo.
A good point; I have always, always, always done my mascara before I do setting spray, this appears to be one of the only sprays that doesn’t make my mascara run.
It’s decent for the price, I wish they wouldn’t have separated it out in to two finishes.

I bought this for traveling to the hot & humid countries of the Philippines & Thailand where it’s about 90+ degrees Fahrenheit. I thought this trip would give it the ultimate test.
I’d say, yeah, it really helped set my face & keep everything in place throughout the day! Of course my face got shiny after some hours – it was over 90 F! But overall I didn’t notice any unevenness, patchiness, fading, etc. I’m happy w/ this for traveling except the spray nozzle really does get stuck. Annoying.
When I run out of MAC Fix+ I’ll probably switch to this. I love WnW!

First two things about this setting spray: 1. It is NOT MATTE. 2. The spray bottle SUCKS. That said, I’m kind of torn and here’s why: even though the finish is not matte, it’s gorgeously glowy and natural (without a bunch of shine) on an oily-skinned gal like me. Also, it really does help set and keep makeup (especially mineral) in place during humid, hot days. The pump does spray, but it also sticks down (at least the one I got) and leaks in your makeup bag. It’s annoying and probably enough to put most people off of repurchasing, but I guess I am stubborn or cheap or both, because I will likely try it again and re-bottle it. I will use a coupon and not be happy about buying it, but damn it, I probably will because it’s one of the best formulas I’ve used- and at a lowball price.

Broke me out horribly every single time I used it & I don’t break out easily either so what a bummer

This is a big hit for me! It prolongs my makeup, makes me matte for longer less of a greaseball, is readily available at Kroger most of the time (I’ve already repurchased +) but somexs it’s sold out, cheap, & cruelty free. The packaging seems okay, I haven’t had it clog up or spray irregularly. I can’t think of any con’s to this setting spray. I use it w their Matte Primer. Good stuff, Maynard!! I like this as well as UD Deslick or All-Nighter. #winning

This setting spray is pretty average to me. It is not advertised as oil control so I apply my usual powder and then the setting spray so my face doesn’t look too dry, but still has a matte finish.
Many times when I used this spray I would get little droplets on my face that had to be blotted because it is white in color. I also had to pour it into a different bottle because the nozzle would get stuck each time I pressed it down to use the product I had to pull it back up. Not a fan of the scent either, UD Deslick, which I love, has a weird smell to me too but it is a different product in a totally different price range so I won’t compare them too much.
