Heartbroken to discover this has been discontinued. I will keep trying to track down the leftovers online, but so far I haven’t had any luck. This product is lovely – truly grips makeup and makes it flawless on initial application. I am pale so the white cast it leaves is not really noticeable; however if you are anything darker than N25, this may bother you. I have very reative acne-prone rosacean skin and this has caused no problem – if anything I feel like my skin looks better, the more I use this. Love this stuff. Please PM if you know where I can find this hidden gem.

This product gave me hope for primers. It is smooth and doubles as a moisturizer for me. I tested it out and then tried using my powder foundation without it and BIG difference. It makes my powder foundation look like flawless liquid foundation and makes it last a lot longer. The best part about this is the SPF 30. Not only that, but the ingredients zinc and titanium dioxide are the anti-aging ingredients needed in SPF to protect from UVA rays. Most face makeup lacks this. It is pricey, but for a primer that actually does what it states, it is so worth it!
Oh and I love all her products by the way. Excellent brand and great for the skin!

Really fantastic! This product was reformulated a while back, and there was a big improvement. I use this primer sparingly after applying my SPF moisturizer, for added protection and smoothness. It gives a diffused glow to my pale skin, without ghostly whiteness. It helps my foundation to apply more evenly, and it hasn’t caused any breakouts or irritation. The pump bottle is hygienic and sleek-looking. Definitely one of my favorite items from Sue Devitt!

I really love this. I have a ton of skincare products and some of my face lotions do not have sunscreen. So they keep piling up in the cabinet because I just want to put on one lotion before my makeup and I do not rely upon SPF in makeup as my protection.
I am very fair with an optimal skin type. Because of my porcealin skin, even the slightest ruddiness shows up. The blue in this makes my porcealin skin even more porcealin-y. Once I blend it in, it doesn’t look blue at all so I could actually just wear it by itself without putting makeup on top of it.
Would definately repurchase but since Sephora no longer carries it (does Ulta?), and it is expensive, it may hinder my repurchase because of price and immediate availability.
Recommend it for anyone who has fair skin or slight rosascea.

I got some as a free sample knowing -nothing- about it. While applying, I noticed a whitish blue tint on my face (by the way a TINY amount covered all) so I blotted a bit and applied my light makeup as usual.Well my skin looked great even got compliments. It must be this stuff. Catching a glimpse in a mirror, i realised my skin really looked better than usual.
So why no repurchase? My skin is pretty nice as it is and I’m not into my skin enough to spend even $25 much less $50 for a skincare product. It would have to work miracles.

Hate the greasy feel, and my makeup didn’t look good with this primer (pores remained huge). Smells bad, very runny, and GREASY!!

Now, for this, because it has a slight blue tint, it’s really for cancelling out redness. If you don’t have redness, then go for her original primer. I like the fact that with this, I don’t have to wear foundation, I look that great! Try this if you are allergic to primers, or have rosecea. A!!! Also see my review for Black Widow.

I really don’t understand all the negative reviews for this…This sunscreen/primer is fabulous! Love it, Love it!!!! I found it easy to spread, like a light lotion. It made my skin feel really moisturized but not greasy. I waited about 5 minutes before applying my makeup and it is a fabulous primer! My makeup went on smoothly and I looked luminous! It does have a blue tint but I didn’t see it on my skin nor was there a whitish cast. My skin looked so good after using this sunscreen/primer that I think I could have gotten away with just a touch of blush! I really love this! Wish it wasn’t $48 for 1 oz though…oh well, guess I’ll have to stock up during Sephora’s F&F!

When I bought this at Sephora the gal commented that it is always out of stock. I was expecting to love it but to my surprise I don’t like it at all and for the price I am quite disappointed. I thought it would be moisturizing as stated on Sephora’s website, but on my skin it is drying and doesn’t spread easily. I *suspect* the Matrixyl in it is drying my skin out as it has in other products. On the Sephora website the description says it goes on translucent but in fact on me there is a whitish cast, I really look pale after applying this product. Due to the high price tag I will continue to use it up on my desk and chest area but not on my face.

I was really excited to try this product, because I love Sue Devitt’s original primer. I was really disappointed though. It doesn’t spread on nearly as well as the original, and it leaves a tacky feeling on my skin for some time after application. The original primer had me dying to feel my face afterwards, because it left my face so soft. But this primer makes me feel like I want to wash it off! I don’t notice any difference in the red appearance of my blemishes (the blue tint is supposed to counteract the redness). The only thing I can really say that I like about this product is the fact that it has an spf of 30, but I think I could get the same result from a moisturizer with spf for a lot cheaper.
