The spritzer is nice and it does give the foundation a bit more of a “matte” finish (which is only visible if your foundation is dewy or demi-matte) but I can tell it doesn’t do much to help with longevity as when I spray it on my face, after a while, my waterproof mascara runs a little bit under my eyes.

I did not like this spray one bit. It did nothing to help my makeup. It didn’t melt the powders into my face for a seamless look like MAC Fix + does. The sprayer is aggressive as well so you ended up with dots of product all over your face which just ruined the makeup. It claims to make your skin matte but this didn’t do that at all. It didn’t even hydrate. I really don’t know what purpose this mist has becasue it does absolutely nothing.

First I have to say that I do not like setting sprays at all, because I think that 99% of them are useless. Usually, I use some professional powder(Kryolan) to set it which makes sense and every makeup stays on if you are using the right technique combined with the right products .. anyway I gave the product a go…
So, I have combination skin, and I do like the product. When I am using setting spray which is once in a while, I use Clarins which is working for me! I have had a good experience even in extreme weather conditions (I live in the tropics it can be very humid but also extremely hot and dry in the winter months..) For this price, it does what it should!
Pros:
Reasonable Price (well I got it on sale so even better ????)
Makeup stays on all day long
Refreshing
The spray comes out evenly, and the mist is wonderful
Mattifies face yes-no
Cons:
Hmm, yeah mattifies face yes-no, maybe not? Not sure it also depends on what other products you are using but hmm I would say maybe no ????

I’m not sure if this does anything at all to mattify my face, but I just use it to add a bit hydration when I’m down with all the powders and stuff. It’s an impulse product (something you think you need, but really don’t)

Doesn’t keep my skin matte and makes my foundation look AWFUL! The spray is also a bit agressive.

This is pretty good. It didn’t create as matte a finish as I would have liked, but my makeup stayed on all day, even my pesky eyeliner (that really feels the need to travel anywhere but my eyes.) It did somewhat irritate my sensitive skin upon contact, but this didn’t last.

For the people said this is a great mattifying setting spray, y’all are liars! I’ve even heard some compare it to the UD setting sprays…I don’t notice any difference in my makeup’s longevity at all. It does not prolong how long my face stays matte either. I would say it’s useless but I managed to find a use for it and that’s for wetting my makeup brushes for better pigmentation in lower quality eyeshadows. This is not a product I’d recommend to anybody, especially for those with oilier skin.

I picked this up because of the price and the fact that it said matte finish. I didn’t really like the slight smell it had but it quickly went away. There is alchol in this which I don’t like so I’m assuming that’s what the slight smell is. It quickly absorbed into my skin and set my make up which I did like and held up decently on hot days however it didn’t actually give a matte finish. My tzone does get oily so I normally apply a little more primer in that area and once I complete my make up, I spray there first let it dry then my entire face lightly. I dont wear a lot of make up, I dont contour or anything like that yet after about 3 hours my tzone looks oily. The amount and the price is good and using it to set my make up has been pretty good too (it doesn’t start to crack or run etc. Which I’m not sure has to do more with the nyx pore filler primer or this spray since I started using both together) but because I was looking for something matte and that’s what it claims I gave it 3. But as a setting spray in general I’d give it a 4

I bought this spray because it is cheaper than the most popular setting sprays. At only $7.99 for a bottle, it is not a bad choice. I am not entirely sure that it makes my makeup last longer, particularly with the amount of primer I use. It feels nice on the face and it is not sticky. The one result I am certain of is that it works well for applying shimmery eye shadows. For this reason, and the price, I will definitely consider repurchasing the product.

This is my 3rd time purchasing this product and I’m a bit surprised by the low rating for this product. For me it works quite well. It sets my make-up.I don’t think it mattes my face, but it keeps my make up from moving throughout the day. It is also absorbed quickly. For the price, I’d say it does a good job, comparable to MAC fix plus and Urban Decay All Nighter. Thanks for reading!
