This is my favourite primer! You can see that your skin glows immediately as you apply the product
It definitely helps create that luminizing look when used under a foundation

pros:
– fairly inexpensive
– has a very fresh scent
– brings luminosity to my skin
– extends the wear of my foundation
cons:
– feels quite heavy on the skin
repurchase: no. i have other primers i like more

This is really more of a tinted moisturizer than a foundation because it provides very little coverage. If you’ve tried Josie Maran’s TM, this provides that level of coverage. The Laura Mercier TM provides more coverage, in my opinion.
This is a nice texture and feels very light, but I don’t find it does much of anything. Maybe my skin looks a little more evenly toned, but that’s about it. On the plus side, it does not contain fragrance, nor does it settle in fine lines under the eyes or highlight roughness or dryness like many foundations. It looks very natural. But meh, this is not worth the price. I prefer the Too Faced BB cream, Body Shop Moisture Foundation and Revlon Nearly Naked to this one.

I bought this for no reason other than just wanted to buy some new foundation, not that i need any or should get any but being a foundation junkie here we go another one.
I picked Sunday Riley is because I love her skincare line and also have her tinted primer (admittedly though that was pretty useless), I was still keen to try out the liquid light.
Matched with 110W in store and I wear NC20 in MAC Pro longwear, N2 in MAC Face and Body, usually #20 in Chanel, 52 in Bourjois, Ivory Beige in EL (many years ago)
The colour is pretty much spot on, I also tried on the 110C just to compare and while it also work, i find 110W blends in better.
It is a sheer-med foundation and not buildable, if you are after a full coverage, please pick something else because you will be disappointed. But if you are after something like a second skin do give this a try.
Will not say this is holy grail, and for a sheer foundation I honestly prefer MAC Face and Body.
Having said that, there are still many things to like about this, firstly its very light on and feels wonderful.
It also dries to a matte finish, not super matte but definitely matte, i like that because i have combination skin with fairly oily tzone. saying this is matte, but strange enough it doesn’t give that ‘my face looks flat’ look after applying the foundation.
I also need to conceal because i have a few spots here and there at the moment, but when I wear sheer foundation, i expect to use concealer if i have spots, nothing LM’s secret camouflage won’t fix.
don’t need to powder if you don’t want to, but i do out of habit and prolong its wear, most of the time i put on my make up about 7 in the morning and won’t take it off until i come home about 7 at night, this foundation stays on very well. Better than Face and Body, less so compare Pro Longwear. But i think the staying powder is excellent.
One thing I did notice is that it grabs on dry skin more obviously than Face and Body and i think it has a lot to do with the finish. Also it dries quick so you will need to work fairly quickly with this.
I won’t buy it again because this is not holy grail and having so many foundations it will take a while to go through and by then something new will come along.
Otherwise it is a decent foundation, not wow but decent.
ETA: I kinda stop using this because its a lot of work when you have a patch of dry skin, it just grabs on too much and I think it shouldn’t be a lot of work when it comes to foundation. took a lippy off.

I played with this at Barney’s for several months before finally taking the plunge. As a brand, Sunday Riley is like a hella-handsome, bad-boy… incredibly attractive, says exactly what I want to hear, seductively sexy, promises the moon and ends up disappointing me more often than not. This “foundation” is a complete let down – in fact, it’s so terribly sheer that I wouldn’t even call it a foundation. It claims to be medium coverage but I could not build it beyond sheer… and I tried. For reference, I’m an NC40/42 and with this product I can wear either 130W or 140W as both “work” but neither works *well*. 130W leaves me with a yellow-cast; 140W leave me with more of a tan. Either way, not an appealing result. It SEEMS to be nicely pigmented but it sheers out sooooo much that it’s less coverage than a tinted moisturizer – and I tried to build this but it didn’t work. The packaging is great – I love a pump bottle. The price is hefty… $52. As much as I wanted to love this, it didn’t happen. I don’t recommend it.

I have tried both her foundations and was quite surprised that on my dry skin, THIS was the best choice. I’m very fair and 100C works beautifully. Goes on smoothly, does not highlight pores, dry spots and leaves a gorgeous finish. One layer is perfection, though you can build up the coverage if you give the foundation a chance to dry between layers. Wore all day, no color change, a winner!

The full name of this product is Liquid Light Breathable Perfecting Foundation. I am currently using a sample of this and to call this a foundation is a stretch. At most, it’s a tinted moisturizer, as it barely offers any coverage. It feels very light on the skin and dries to a nice finish, but this does not flatter my skin at all. The shade selection is also very limited. I was very disappointed because I love Sunday Riley’s eye shadows and was hoping to find some other gems in her makeup line. Liquid Light is not one of them.
For reference I was color matched with 130w, which I found to be too dark (it also became more orange the longer I kept it on… Blech) I normally wear NARS Alaska/Punjab, MAC NC30, Shiseido O20, BE 1.2/2.0.
