I’m sold for sure! I have no experience with illuminating products and went to check this out at Kohls. They were sold out of Dawn. Had a coupon and went online to order. It’s exactly what I want – brightness with no disco ball. Love the smell. Will buy again for sure.

I like this 3 in 1 primer a lot! First I like that you can use it in multiple ways. I find I like it best as a primer. It doesn’t have enough luminosity for me to use it as a highlight. I would try it mixed with moisturizer but I prefer it under my base. I like it because whether I use BB cream or foundation it goes on so well. Also my base looked flawless and stayed that way for hours. I have combination skin getting oily with the warmer months approaching but this didn’t feel greasy or heavy at all. I like how it reminds me of Beccas backlight primer because it has luminescents like Beccas but it come in 2 different shades gold and white (dawn). I prefer the white because I’m cool toned so this works well with my skintone
I also like how it keeps my foundation pretty much perfect before I wash my face. It litterly lasted hours and I didn’t need a retouch or powder during the day at all. Nor did it break me out. Also it’s not super shimmery I didn’t see any sparkles in the light at all. It’s just luminous. The packaging is really nice but the price is up there. Though it does do what it says so I don’t mind the cost. I wouldn’t say it’s a dupe of the backlight primer as I own it but it does feel like it’s in that same realm. So I’m really liking this product. I would repurchase it and for me it totally worked with my combination, sensitive skin. Very happy. 🙂

First of all, I’m NOT a full-face foundation kinda girl, I usually just do a bit of under eye concealer or brightener then a face powder on my T-Zone. However, during the winter months I get the dull skin blues and usually resort to my MAC Strobe Cream around my eye area to give me a bit of a glow. My tube is all finished though and since I had a 20% off coupon I decided to purchase Lorac’s Light Source 3-in-1 Illuminating Primer in Dawn to give it a try and compare. I bought it over a week ago and have been wearing it on a daily basis since then. So far so good, I really like it!
The formula is a bit thinner than the MAC Strobe Cream and I like that, it applies evenly and after over a week of wearing it on a daily basis I haven’t had any breakouts or skin issues of any kind. The packaging is beautiful and sleek and compliments LORAC’s overall packaging, although I wish this came in a tube since pumps are notorious for not letting you control the amount of the product you want and then don’t let you get everything out when the container is almost empty!
Overall though, I can definitely see myself re-purchasing this! It’s a bit pricey and I wish it came in a tube but I’ll purchase it the next time I get another coupon from Ulta. Plus my husband has been complimenting my makeup this week which for the most part doesn’t happen. LOVE!
