This didn’t work on me at all. It helped smooth my skin a tiny bit but as for oil control? NOPE! My skin actually seemed oilier than normal by lunch time. It’s cheap but I won’t be trying this again….off to buy some Hourglass Mineral Veil…

Been using this for years, I always get compliments about how smooth my skin looks when I use it. This is super affordable for students too!

Update:
I’ve changed my mind about this product. Its is slightly smoothing and slightly mattifying, and I kind of like that. Does it do miracles? No. Does it keep you matte all day? No. But it helps makeup smooth over shallow lines and scabby acne spots a bit easier. It also doesnt break me out horribly, or ruin the finish of my makeup. I would only suggest this for people with normal to oily skin looking for a primer that is mildly smoothing. Will I repurchase? Probably not XD But I don’t mind using it up. It just doesn’t do enough to repurchase.

This is not worth buying. Figure out how long it takes for your oil to break through your foundation; this primer can help you stay matte 30 minutes to an hour longer than that. I have oily skin, that’s POINTLESS. It doesn’t prevent foundation from fading either. Now, if you have normal to dry skin, and you get a little shiny at the end of the day, say at the 9 hour mark, then maybe its worth it that this will stretch it to 10 hours. Not for me.
Not sure if I should give it 2 or 3 lippies. The packaging is excellent, and this does mattify a little on the get go. I wonder If I can apply it over makeup.. I imagine not, because its kind of lotion like. Im going to give that a try.

Overall this is a good product, my foundation blends pretty well over it and it does help it last long longer. I’m not a huge fan of how it feels on my skin at first, but that does go away. The tube is okay, but I’ve definitely squirted product over my sink more than once trying to get it out, it’s a bit annoying. But I can see myself trying it again.

This is ok. It was very nice and silky to the touch, however I didn’t fill my pores in very well and also does not last very long.

I like this! I use this with the pro matte foundation and it helps to make it look more like skin, less dry/cakey.

Honestly, it is a good product but not what I expected. It sure matifies but it does not last long.

I’ve had a hectic journey with this one- and still going through it. I bought this initially with the loreal total cover foundation, and together they work amazingly well. In general, I recommend using this primer with the infallible foundation line. Before i discuss what i dont like and find confusing, let me state what i do like:
– it does fill pores, but minimally.
– it did keep me matte and oil free for quite some time
-all in all, it gave a flawless canvas and worked terrific with my infallible total cover foundation.
BUT… fastforward to a few weeks.. i have no idea what happened! I took really good care of my primer, but somehow the consistency changed, and the liquid inside formed this huge ball! My makeup started getting oilier, it was a general disaster. I didnt wanna give in just yet, so i purchased another one. I don’t find it that great anymore. I also forgot to mention that while it did keep my oils at bay, sister it broke my out on my chin (sensitive side)! So its just not worth it for me. This primer also didnt work with other foundations i tried, like the MUFE matt velvet+, or maybelline fit me foundation. If you do want to give this primer a try, i suggest using it with the infallible foundations. Im not gonna purchase this again

This product confuses me. I always feel like I’m using too little or too much. Either I see no results in my pores or how well my foundation lays/lasts (or maybe I’m not noticing) or I feel my face super siliconey, clogged and sticky.
I use it from time to time to use it up and find a way to just make it work but I dont know, I can’t seem to figure it out. I have tried pressing it into my pores and also spreading it on my face from center to perimeter like it’s instructed but I see no difference.
I really don’t like the smell of this, by the way.

its an OK primer.. it makes me veryyyy oil even though I use a very little portion of it..
it does make my makeup last a little bit longer it make my blush sit on my skin for longer hours as well as it make it look/blend better
currently i am only applying it on my cheeks since it helps with the blush
I am not sure whether I will purchase it ever again or not since its suppose to mattify and it doesn’t really help with that
