it works in a pinch but I really don’t like it that much

I didn’t notice any benefits to using this, it didn’t seem to make my foundation any smoother or to last longer. The part that really makes it a waste to me is that no matter how little or how I blend it leaves a whiteness on my face, not sure if this is because of my very warm brown skin color or what. Even if it did prolong my makeup I would be unable to use because of the whiteness. It also does cause flashback in photos. I end up looking ghostly with it on. Definitely not a repurchase and will continue to search for a primer that works with my skin, gives a smooth canvas for foundation application and prolongs wear.

Whoever says whatever — this primer is just AWESOME. It gives immense brightness & glow. Sometimes I dont need to wear anything above it. It covers a lot of discolouration. It soothes the skin. Thickness is just perfect. Infact, I love this one more than NYX Angel Veil. Thanks…

This has a blue tint which I didn’t mind, just don’t use it under your eyes. Make sure you blend well or it will leave streaks. I never found that this primer did much. It didn’t reduce my pores, smooth my skin, reduce oiliness, moisturize or make my makeup last longer. I know pumps are the most sanitary, but I wish it came in a tube so that it will get smaller as you use it.
Cons:
Parent company tests on animals
Didn’t help makeup that I noticed
Waste of money

Meh – I usually love NYX products, but this one (and a rather pricey one too) just doesn’t do much for me. I love the tube, but that’s about it. It goes on WHITE like zinc oxide sunscreen and takes a lot of rubbing for it to dissipate into my skin. It is thick and dries down rather sticky. I’m also test driving Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk foundation and these 2 products do NOT play well together – same w/ my L’Oreal Infallible foundation – the primer is too sticky for these foundations to work – and this is bouncing it into my skin w/ a BB or Real Techniques sponge. Causes the foundations to stick and not be nearly as easily spreadable…if that makes sense. I expect my primer to work with all my foundations (I have several in my rotation) like my other primers do.
I didn’t get any breakouts and to me, the smell dissipates quickly (more quickly than the product on my skin, that’s for sure).
Will not re-purchase.

This product has a thin lotion feel, not what I associate with a primer. Right out of the tube (it comes in a tube now) it rubbed me the wrong way because it has a strong, pronounced odor that is reminiscent of some kind of toiletry product I would associate with an elderly gentleman. Maybe something in my grandfather’s bathroom? I thought the blue-ish white color was interesting, but I don’t see what it does. Worse, when I applied my foundation over it, my skin had a very dry, dull appearance which is not how this foundation usually behaves on my skin. I washed my face right off! Very disappointed and hoping Target will let me return the product even though I have opened it.

i purchased this primer a few weeks ago only because my local Target is closing and that is the only local place i can get this product. a friend of mine had told me that NYX makes good primers. i believe it was around $16.. kinda pricey, but compared to other primers i guess that’s reasonable. my first thought was, ‘this stuff is blueish white!’ and it is! if you use too much and don’t blend it in well enough it will leave white streaks or patches on your face, so use it sparingly. it doesn’t help much with shine or oil, it makes dry skin look more dry. it does help even out discoloration and blemishes and helps makeup go on and stick better. it seems to hold up all day and doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts. it doesn’t feel sticky, heavy or slippery on the skin. it doesn’t smell strongly of perfume or anything, really. it seems to come off easily with soap and warm water. overall.. i feel like i will get my money’s worth out of this product, but i would not go out and purchase it again. i feel like there must be something better than this out there for my combination skin. but i don’t feel like it was a waste and i don’t hate it. i’m just not blown away by it.. nothing to write home about

One of the best primers I have tried! I have tried high-end and drugstore primer and this has to be a very good primer especially for the price. It feels like I am wearing nothing after I put it on. The only problem I have noticed is that you have to blend it out really good and not use too much or it will make your face look white and slightly grey. Just make sure to try out tiny squirts at a time to see how much product works for you since everyone’s skin reacts differently.

This primer is a true disappointment. I’ve only used it once, and GOD! I look way way way to white! It so hard to blend! I will never, ever, buy this again. Also it got that strong scents that can be super annoying. There goes my money…hfff

I really think this stuff is just sunscreen in a Nyx bottle. It smells like sunscreen, it goes on like sunscreen, and it does the same thing to my face that sunscreen does. This doesn’t help my makeup stay on at all, in fact it actually makes my skin more oily so my makeup comes off faster throughout the day. I bought this product because I thought this and the Nyx photo-loving primer were the same thing so I had no idea they were two different products. I keep giving this product a chance in different ways and every way I use it just doesn’t deliver results. It’s upsetting, oh well, it will teach me to save my receipts.
