I just can’t decide about this product. It is a weird one. The instructions being translated from Korean aren’t much of a help.
I think it is meant to be a primer to give you a glow from beneath your foundation. That’s why I purchased it as, like a lot of people, my skin is getting a bit washed out with age.
It is a very liquid pink sparkly primer in a glass bottle with a dropper which some might really like from a hygiene point of view.
I found it a little awkward to use as it was so liquid. A tiny amount goes a very long way. It has a silicone consistency and when on the skin as a primer really adds a lot of slip-I mean a lot. With my Dior Forever matte foundation I found it hard to get the makeup to cling to my face-but I may have been over generous with the primer. It is early days yet.
I also didn’t think it added much in the way of glow under foundation-it just sheered it out.
The way I have ended up using it is after my foundation in the minutest amount on the top of my cheekbones and wherever I want a natural glow. It works very well for that. You don’t see any sparkles-thank goodness. And at this rate it will last me for the rest of my natural life so that makes it great value at around $20 AU for the bottle.
I would be interested to hear other people’s opinions on this and how they have used it. I suspect it may have potential but I haven’t really got a handle on it yet. As I am currently on holidays in a completely different climate from where I live I think I will have to conduct more experiments when I get home.
This probably hasn’t been the most helpful review I have written but I thought I would share my initial thoughts
Later: I find myself using this product nearly every day. One drop blended with my foundation before application lightens it up and gives me a dewy look without sheering out the foundation too much. Areas needing a bit more coverage can have an extra little bit of straight foundation applied for more coverage. Doesn’t effect longevity but freshens my look without adding oiliness. At this rate it will last for years. Very highly recommended for this purpose. Others will probably like it as a primer or highlighter as well. Versatile, cost effective product.
