I bought the peach one and I wish I bought one with a more natural scent. The smell triggers my sinus every time I spray. Anyway, the spray will leave a dewy sheen on your face even after letting it dry which I honestly am not a big fan of. After hours of wear, I would say that my makeup does stay on longer except for the foundation I apply on my nose. It makes my nose oilier than it would normally be which makes my foundation slide off easier than it should. I’m not a big advocate for this spray, honestly.

Alcohol based setting spray that reminds me a lot of model in a bottle. I love the scent, but unfortunately when I used this, I got super oily much earlier in the day. It leaves a sheen on the skin when applied and it just gets oilier and oilier.
Won’t repurchase.

Honestly, this is one of the worst setting sprays I’ve ever used. I have oily skin and a job where I’m constantly on the move, and those two things can often make my face look like a hot mess. I NEED a setting spray that’s going to do it’s job and unfortunately this one failed. I’ve seen this setting spray countless times on Instagram & YouTube and was dying to try it out for myself. I think the price is great, and I love that you can choose from a variety of scents! I love the different colors as well. I decided to purchase Jasmine, and that was definitely a mistake. I didn’t mind the scent at first, I actually thought it was very pretty. But it is intense. It is super overpowering, and I’m not someone who is at all sensitive to scents. The stronger the better, in fact. But this was just too much. The scent got kind of sickening over time, and I actually had someone tell me it smelled like cat pee. Yikes.
As for the actual spray itself, not impressed. It made my skin look so much more oilier than it actually is. I felt like my make up was literally melting off of my face. I thought maybe it was the new foundation I was using, but then I tried it without the spray and it was fine. So, it’s definitely the setting spray that was making me look greasy. It’s disappointing because I so bad wanted to love this setting spray. I hated the way my make up looked whenever I used this. I definitely would not purchase it. I know lots of other people really enjoy this setting spray though!

I have the peach one and it smells amazing! It makes my feel refreshed and does keep my makeup in place. I spray on my beauty blender before applying my foundation and spray after I’ve finished my overall look. Really good price for the product aswell.

This stuff is the BOMB!!!! This is my first bottle ever and I will use it from now until EVER!!!! I use it before makeup application (before primer) and set with setting powder (RMCA or Laura Mercier) for my oil slick of a face — I know sounds cray – but it works!!! Sometimes I forget, and man, am I sorry by hour 4-6. The layering totally helps with oil absorption, believe it or not. I know it’s an extra step – but it’s totally worth it. I have the jasmine scent (which I don’t much care for) and I’ll try a different one next time – heads up – it smells kind of chemical-ly. I think I’ll try lavender or coconut next time. Be sure and look on Youtube.com for discount codes – because they’re out there — I follow NIkkia Joy — and you might just find a code for two bottles for the price of ONE!!!! Yeah, I’m sayin!!!!! Gerard Cosmetics is a great company – the customer surface is excellent and there is always some sort of discount when you order- and reorder. They’re liquid lips are hard to beat and just beautiful. This setting spray is one of the best that I’ve used, even compared to UD, Sephora, and many more. It just works. Great spray nozzle. Fine, fine mist. That matters to me, I dislike big clops of spray on my face. I want an etherial rainfall of beautiful sprinkling mist!!!!! LOL Slay All Day does just that and melds my magnificent hard work into a masterpiece of iron!!! You have to try it. Like I stated prior…. IT JUST WORKS. Find a discount code (you’d be silly not to) and go, go get yourself some — You will not be disappointed!

Was gifted this for Christmas and after a few uses I hardly find myself gravitating towards it. I have the grapefruit scent which is very strong, if you are a lover of scented face sprays you might love one of the 8 options they have but for the moment I’ll be sticking to my MAC fix plus spray.

Packaging: The packaging is a sleek black box. The bottles are plastic with a spray. They look good overall and the different colours are a nice idea. However, the bottles do not look high end and a little cheap.
Application/feel/texture: The main reason I gave this product a 3 was because it applies horribly. The Urban Decay setting spray spritzes on evenly and lightly, like a mist. In comparison (I’m comparing to UD as it’s the most popular) this sprays in a clump almost, it hits one area of your face like a splash rather than a spritz. This makes me worried that it’ll ruin my make up in one area due to the pressure of the splash. Consequently, you need more sprays to cover your whole face. It smells very strong, I have the green tea one which is lovely and fruity but it can get a little sickly as you will smell this for a while after. It also doesn’t prevent nose grease!
Durability of make up: My make up lasts all day with this setting spray! Therefore, it does the job. It doesn’t, however, prevent under eye creasing so I would make sure to set your concealer very well with powder before application.
Overall: I won’t purchase this again as I don’t enjoy putting it on, it does however make my make up last all day. It works but it doesn’t give me everything I need. I’ll be sticking to Urban Decay.
Pros – smells lovely, works well
Cons – doesn’t spray well, smell may get sickly

This setting spray is available in five different versions: Lavender, Jasmine, Lemongrass, Green Tea and Peach. The only thing that differs between those are the scents; the formula and the product claims are the same for all of the different versions. I want to be clear about two things: I can’t review the performance of this setting spray used on myself (I’ll explain why in a second) and I am in no way scent sensitive – I rarely pass on a product because of its scent being too strong. Unless it’s completely and utterly overwhelming, like in this case.
I got a bottle of the Jasmine version in a Glossybox and was curious to try it out. I love the scent of Jasmine, I’d heard about the brand on youtube and I was pleasantly surprised by the big bottle. More specifically a 100ml / 3.38 fl oz bottle rather than the 30-60 ml / 1-2 fl oz that seems to be the most common size for setting sprays.
The fragrance of this product, however, is nothing short of awful. Even if you ignore how it’s a chemical and synthetic attempt at Jasmine, it’s also absurdly potent and strong. It sent me into a coughing fit to begin with, and then I could feel it on my skin all day long. My preferred way to wear a perfume is so that I can’t smell it myself after it has sat on my skin for a while – if I still can, then I consider the perfume being too strong or too heavily applied by me. This I could smell all day, and I honestly felt embarrassed about the fact that everyone else must be able to smell it on me too, probably even to a greater extent than I did. Even if it had been a nice scent, it overpowers everything else. And frankly I have a hard time believing that anyone would want their signature scent to be from their setting spray!?
This may very well be an okay or even really good setting spray to a decent price (factoring in the big bottle it’s pretty much on par with the NYX one), but I won’t be able to get past the scent bomb that is this product. Ever. The only reason I put 2 lippies instead of 1 is that it’d feel unfair to give it the absolute worst rating since I haven’t really put the effectiveness to the test..
